The next day, Bella walked through the hallway to get to class, heels clicking against the ground as she walked. Everyone was talking amongst themselves, and it was still a loud hallway to notice anyone coming.

Unless you're Bella today; everyone had stopped talking to each other and looked at Bella, and she looked at everyone as she stopped walking. Three girls walked her way, Bella sighs grabbing her bag.

"I heard you were with Ven yesterday in the hallway, Bells." The front girl, Rachel, said to her in a rude way. "I don't care if men or boys think you're beautiful, but you need to stay away from Ven."

Bella rolls her eyes lightly and looks away, trying to ignore her. Something about her didn't feel right, like something was going to happen. But she tried to ignore it. She walks away from them, but two of Rachel's friends step in front of her, almost surrounding her.

"Can we please not do this right now?" Bella asks them, almost rudely back to them. "I need to get to class, I need to finish a project."

"How about go back to that flower shop before someone burns it down, I see no one goes to it anyway, every time someone does they just talk about how stupid it is."

Bella began to fume, no one ever said that about Aerith's work, she maintained it and kept it going for Aerith's sake! But they continue to go and insult her.

"And you're just an idiot for ever trying to go out with that one boy - what was his name? ... Sora! That was it, how long did that last? Two months, what couldn't handle the long distance and the fact that you're a loser!"

Bella had tears coming from her eyes, but she refused to let them go, everyone in the school was looking at her, and watching her. Was she about to break? They had to know.

"Would you stop picking on her, Rachel, she doesn't need you hounding her for every little thing she does." A voice said behind her, Bella blinks and looks back seeing Ven there with his arms crossed almost glaring at Rachel, Bella blinks again, why is he sticking up for her? "I bumped into her, nothing more. So if you'll go on with you're life, then maybe everyone will too."

Bella blushes a deep shade of red and quickly walks off past the two girls and quickly rushes to her locker to drop her stuff, when she got there, she did that and ran to the roof.

Rachel scoffed and looked Ven's way and put a hand to her hip, trying to glare at her boy crush.

"Why did you stop me?" she questioned him. "She needs to go, Ven, she's a threat to us. If she stays, she'll take you away and then break your heart like she did Soras." Rachel continued and Ven sneers at her, quickly glaring her way and at both of her friends.

"You just don't know what she's been through, Rachel, that was very heartless of you to do that, you know?" Ven calmly said and quickly walks off, leaving her in shock. Did he...?

Bella sat on the roof, looking over the campus and trying to ignore everything that Rachel had said. Bella sighs a little, quickly trying to regain her composure, Rachel had to bring up Sora. It wasn't Bella's fault, Sora had feelings for another and she couldn't change him, so she set him free. A little smile broke on her face for a second, feeling the wind play with her hair.

"I jumped, I took a risk, we fell in love, but that love... it broke me in the end." Bella says aloud, knowing someone was behind her. A sniff tore from her as she started crying. "The sad thing is, I'll always want him, but I know I can't. I just shut down, and not wanted to love again. The only person who understood this pain, was Zack..."

"Aerith's wreck, right?" Ven, the person behind her, stated and she nodded, she turned to him, tears falling from her eyes. "Unlucky night for all of you that day, huh?"

"I guess so..." Bella said wiping her eyes and sniffed. "We made it through much worse pain, after we lost our parents and our guardian as well, we manage through the pain and just look towards the future." Bella smiles. "We live in the present and just prepare for the future."

"Good way to look through life."

Bella walks to him and pecks his cheek, feeling his cool cheek against her lips and she smiled once more. "Thanks for listening, Ven. You're always there when I need you." Bella smiles and quickly runs off to find her brother. Ven touches his cheek and begins talking to himself, glad that Bella wasn't there.

"Why are you doing this to me, Bella?" He sighs looking back at where she ran, feeling the wind play with his chair, ticking his face. "Why are you changing me in ways I couldn't imagine, the last time this happened is when my first love died." Ven sighs once more.

Bella walked around in the flower shop, her pink apron dangling as she switched some flowers and put some flowers down, watering them in their place. When she walks away, she turns and sees Axel standing there, but he looked... different...

"Axel...?" Bella questioned almost afraid, stepping back.

The man shook his hands, with a smile. "No, I'm Lea, Axel is my twin, the more evil twin." Lea explained. "I'm the good twin, now I can see why Ven really likes you. You're really beautiful." Bella blushed and nodded, quietly thanking him but he heard it. "I'm here to walk you home in case you get in trouble with anyone."

"Well thank you." Bella gratefully smiles and goes back to doing work. "Since you're here, mind helping me?"

Lea smiles and nods, quickly going to help her, she began explaining some heavy stuff in the back she couldn't get, and he quickly went to go get it. A scream came from Bella's throat and Lea quickly ran to her and see her in the corner shaking.

"What's the matter, Bells?"

"Sn-sn-snake!" Bella was shaking in fear, she hated snakes. She continued shaking as the snake kept slithering towards her. Lea sighs, putting down the boxes gently, and picking up the snake and throwing it outside. Bella sighs and puts a hand to her chest. "Thank you Lea."

"No problem." Lea smiles helping her up. "You are really afraid of snakes, aren't ya?"

Bella nods, ashamed. "Yeah, unfortunately I am." Bella was saddened by her fear. "I've been bitten by one, and it didn't exactly heal." Bella raised her sleeve on her arm showing him the bite, but to him, that was a bite he knew all to well. "The thing is, I didn't have any poison in my system so I just been ignoring it ever since."

Lea continues to stare at it and nods. "I see, are you ready to go home?"

Bella looks at him and nods, and begins to run in back and gather things and they quickly walk home.
