The sun slowly creeped to life as it's light started to seep over the horizon, although for a certain lass she was already awake and moving a good hour before the sun even started to rise.

[Y/N]'s horse trotted along the dirt path in a steady at ease pace as she wasn't in a rush to get to anywhere considering she was in-between jobs so far, the 19-year-old was hoping to at least get to the next town or village over before sundown later that day but being in the north currently meant she couldn't tell when she'll come across another town or village will be.

"What you think Silver? Do you think we'll get to the next village or town before the days end?"

Silver bobbed his head as he nickered in reply to his owner as they trotted down the path, eventually they made it onto a rocky which they followed most of the morning until the big castle of Winterfell came into view in the distance. Flicking the reins [Y/N] brought Silver into a galop down the Stoney path towards the old castle fort, she arrived at Winterfell within an hour and trotted into the courtyard where she dismounted landing in the mud with a small splat.

"Still as I remember, now where are my brother's at?"

The [H/C]ette muttered to herself while looking around the courtyard until she spotted a stable boy and ask him kindly to see to her horse as she gave him one silver coin for his troubles, afterwards she went in search for her two troublesome older brothers', eventually she wondered into the woods near by thinking that she could find them somewhere in there.

After 30 minutes of wondering about she stopped dead in her tracks then thanks to her quick reflexes she unsheathed her sword in time to cut an income arrow in half, looking around with her guard up eventually she spotted the culprit stood a yard away from her as they lowered their bow she recognized them as her older brother Axle, huffing in announcing she put her sword away while she made her way over to him.

Axel)"What can I do for you lass?"

"I'm looking for my two troublesome brothers, haven't seen'em have ya?"

The two siblings teased each other before the older of the two pulled teen girl into a loving hug that she returned glad that her brother hadn't gotten himself killed yet, they pulled apart once they both heard the faint sound of voices talking and their approaching footsteps but once [Y/N] turned in that direction she saw her other brother Rowen talking happily with a dark-haired guy around the twins age, glancing back at Axel she gave him a slightly confused look which earned her a chuckle before she was signaled to follow him over.

Once the two got closer to the Rowen and the other guy [Y/N]'s other brother finally noticed her making a big grin to slip onto his charming face before rushing over to the girl then picking her up and spinning her around in a hug, a few laughs spilled from the teen's lips from her brothers' actions along with a glad smile grin on her face, once the sibling reunion was out of the way [Y/N] was finally introduced to her brothers friend Jon; which they worked for his family.

"So, Jon Snow, tell me true. Have my brothers been behaving themselves around Winterfell?"

Jon)"Aye they have milady, always a great help they are"

Rowen)"Milady? hahaha that's a new one for you huh sis?"

Rowen teased his sister while nudging her with his elbow as a shit eating grin was plastered on his face making the younger girl chuckle as she nudged her brother back while shaking her head, the siblings may be from a lesser-known house but either way they were lords and ladies which they weren't used to although they had been called it most of their lives, well those that know anyway. 

"I'm no lady Jon, I'm sure my brothers have told you all about me and my skills"

Jon)"Aye they have. They say your deadly with your bow and sword milady"

Hearing his answer only made [Y/N] shake her head with a small laugh because no doubt that her two brothers had overly dramatize how good her skills were, they spent some while in the woods before they all made their way back to Winterfell but once they all stepped foot into the courtyard [Y/N] noticed Eddard Stark the Lord of Winterfell, you see before the [L/N]'s father past he planned to marry [Y/N] off to either one of Ned Starks sons or Robert Baratheon's eldest son.

Gripping the hilt of her sword that was on her hip [Y/N] tried her best to not attract the lord's attention but unfortunately just as she was out of sight of the man, he called out to her telling her to stop where she was making her freeze on the spot, tense and worried [Y/N]'s only thought was that she was done for not that she's been spotted.

Turning to face the older man as he was just approaching her [Y/N] held her head high showing that she was confident and not easily swayed by such acts of intimidation by him, once Ned Stark came to a halt in front of the young woman, he finally recognized her as his late friend's daughter, the one that they were talking about marring into his family a long time ago when the young woman in front of him was only 14. 

Ned)"Speak child and speak true, are you Lindo [L/N]'s daughter? -"

As he asked her that question, he glanced up to meet the familliar dark brown eyes of [Y/N]'s older brothers next to his basted son only a few feet from him.

Ned made the connection instantly between the two young men and the young woman in front of him as his friend's daughter and twin sons, he noticed the way how Rowan and Axel stepped forward in case something happens to their sister, a small smile grace Ned's warn old face seeing that the twins he watched grow up was still overprotective of their sister whenever in her presents.

"My lord, I am the person that you speak of as well as my brothers that stand behind me. You look well, Uncle Ned"

Ned)"The same can be said for you three, my, how you've all grown. Please, let me host you in my home like old times little hawks"

"Well it wouldn't be lady like if I decline a lord now, would it?"

[Y/N] teased with a small smile like smirk making Ned laugh alittle before she turned around and nod her head at her brothers silently telling them that she'll be alright, they both nods back at her before they left with Jon towards the training grounds leaving [Y/N] to be led into Winterfell behind Ned as they talked and caught up.
