Previously...

Ned made the connection instantly between the two young men and the young woman in front of him as his friend's daughter and twin sons, he noticed the way how Rowan and Axel stepped forward in case something happens to their sister, a small smile grace Ned's warn old face seeing that the twins he watched grow up was still overprotective of their sister whenever in her presents.

"My lord, I am the person that you speak of as well as my brothers that stand behind me. You look well, Uncle Ned"

Ned)"The same can be said for you three, my, how you've all grown. Please, let me host you in my home like old times little hawks"

"Well it wouldn't be lady like if I decline a lord now, would it?"

[Y/N] teased with a small smile like smirk making Ned laugh alittle before she turned around and nod her head at her brothers silently telling them that she'll be alright, they both nods back at her before they left with Jon towards the training grounds leaving [Y/N] to be led into Winterfell behind Ned as they talked and caught up.

Now...

Ned Stark led the way through Winterfell with [Y/N] following close behind so not to get lost although she has been to the old castle like fort before when she was younger, her memory of the layout was alittle hazy so she decided that following her not-by-blood uncle through the hallways, eventually the two crossed paths with Catelyn Stark the lady of Winterfell and Eddard Starks beautiful wife.

The lord greeted his wife with a loving smile as he placed a kiss on her cheek before turning [Y/N] and placing a hand on her shoulder bringing her forward alittle so Catelyn could see her, once the older woman spotted the young lass a soft smile slipped onto her face already recognising the girl she watched grow up ever since she came into the world, bringing the girl into a gentle loving hug which she returned greatful to still have people that care.

Ned)"My dearest love, I'm sure you remember this young lass considering your reaction"

Catelyn)"Of course, she's Lindo's daughter and our godchild. My how you've grown child, come, I'll show you around the castle once more to refresh your memory then I'll introduced you to the children"

Catelyn addressed her husband first be go turning to [Y/N] before ushering her away to show her around the castle once more to refresh your memory, along the way they would constantly run into one of Catelyn's children may that be the eldest son, Rob; or the younger one's Rickon and Brandan.

Eventually they made it to a room filled with books which was the castles library which Catelyn fondly remembered was the young girl's favourite spot to spend her day's when she was younger, gasping in awe as a big vibrant grin spread across her face [Y/N]'s eye's lit up seeing all the book's that she loved to read years ago, without even looking back at her godmother she instantly went off exploring the library making a fond smile slipped onto Catelyn's lips seeing the girl so happy.

[Y/N] spent most of the evening in the library re-reading the books that she's already read and reading those that were new to the library, soon a maid had come to inform her that it was dinner and if she wanted to join them in the hall or not which she replied with a yes then marked what page she was on before getting up and following the maid, upon her arivel [Y/N] bowed her head in respect to her grandparents and their family then taking a seat beside her brother Axel.

Placing the amount of food she desired the rest of the meal went by fairly well besides being glared by Sansa across the table, once dinner was over she excused herself politely then made her way out the hall and towards her room that she was going to be staying in until she decided she's over stayed her stay, along her walk back to her room she was suddenly grabbed by someone then slammed face first into the stone wall of the hallway.

Survival instincts kicked into overdrive from the sudden and unexpected attack [Y/N] acted quick her feet, the next thing she new she was pinning Sansa Stark to the same stone wall she had to her but [Y/N] had her sword dangerously to her throat, with an annoyed sigh she sheathed her sword effortlessly with one had while she kept her hold on the girl in front of her against the wall.

"Listen here m'lady and listen closely as I'll only say this once, okay? You have beauty and grace on your side but your incredible naive, I on the other hand, I've got strength and the knowledge of real-world experience under my belt along with how to defend myself from arrogant and oetty pricks like you. You hear me princess? You cross me and I won't hesitate to strike you down, now get out if my sight"

The young Stark girl was trembling in fear of the older woman behind her but once [Y/N] let her go she didn't hesitant to walk away stumbling alittle not once looking back, a satisfied smirk played it's way onto [Y/N]'s lips that she taught that petty brat a lesson not even caring that - that brat was one of her godparents children, once she made it back to her room she took off the brown leather like armour she wears leaving her in the clothing underneath then she slipped off her boots.

Getting comfortable on her bed she carried on reading the book from earlier until she eventually fell asleep in the early hours of the morning, the book she was reading had slipped from her hands onto the mattress where as she was laying on her side blissfully unaware of what the future has in-store for her, it surely will test her strength and iron will.
