It's been a few months since the Stark girls, Eddard and the Royal family left from Winterfell, over this time [Y/N] had been making sure that Catelyn drank and ate as she didn't leave Brans side because the worry of a mother cannot be swayed by anything, [Y/N] will one day learn for herself what that worry felt like and that day maybe coming sooner than she thinks.
The [H/C]ette helped Rob and her brother's with anything she could concerning Winterfell but once they received a raven from king's Landing that Eddard Stark was being charged with treason to the crown all hell broke lose, Rob called all their loyal bannerman to Winterfell to strategize a way to get his sister's and father back where as for [Y/N] she told them that she'll ride to King's Landing to find out the truth behind Eddard's imprisonment, with some convincing Rob and her brother's allowed her to go.
Although, [Y/N] was hiding a secret from those she held dear to her heart. A month after everyone left for King's Landing or the wall she didn't feel right so she went to pay a visit to the maester at Winterfell, it was then that she found out that one night filled with passion she spent with Jon Snow had lead way to her situation now because she was with child and it was Jon Snow's, she had not told a soul as the past few months had been filled with plent of drama from finding out about Eddard's imprisonment to Bran finally waking up from his slumber.
Slinging her leg over her silver grey horse and settling into her saddle [Y/N] looked down at her brother's that was stood next to her with worried looks still not liking the though of their sister riding into enemy territory, a reassuring smile slipped onto her face as she took the saddle bag from Rowen's hand then attaching it to her saddle for safe keeping.
"There's no need to fret brother's, I shall meet up with my informant get the information needed then come back, I won't be any longer than a week or two"
Axle)"We shall worry sister, do not think we haven't noticed your condition the last few months. Your sick and should not be riding in your condition"
Hearing that her brother's had noticed her worrisome condition the last few months had her anxious and self conscious about the slight bump forming on her stomach, she had to resist the urge of placing a hand on her stomach as she glanced from Axle's honey brown eye's to Rowen's evidently seeing that they both was feeling the same, taking a deep calming breath as she debated with herself about telling them but in the end she decided that she'll tell them once she gets back from King's Landing.
"Do not worry I am in perfectly good health, I shall tell you both once I am back about what has been happening alright?"
With a sigh Rowen and Axle nod to their sister's words before she kicked her heel into Silver making him gallop out of the courtyard of Winterfell and towards the direction of the King's road, in reality the brother's already recognized the signs of their sister's pregnancy as they saw their mother go through it with [Y/N] and was worried for her wellbeing with her going to King's Landing alone, once [Y/N]'s figure was out of sight the two brothers made their way back inside the castle to re-join the strategizing to get Eddard Stark, Sansa and Arya back from the Lannisters.
Two weeks later...
Riding into King's Landing [Y/N] made her way to the randabvue spot for her information that worked inside the Red Keep, sliding from her saddle she tyed the reins to a poll at a back entrence of the castle that not many knew about and only a few minutes later a man appeared before she followed him through the passageways that resided within the walls, soon enough they made it to the dungeon where he unlocked it and let her inside with a lit torch from the wall.
Walking inside quickly she immediately spotted Eddard shackled to a post within the damp dark dungeon and went over to him before kneeling infront of him, observing the man infront of her it was clear to see a healing wound in his tigh and the obvious lack of food or water was taking it's toll on the older man.
"Eddard, uncle, you must snap out of it we haven't much time"
Eddard)"[Y/N]? What are you doing here? Do you know where Arya or Sansa are?"
"Far as I know Sansa still resides in the castle but I don't know of Arya. Now tell me what happened, everything and make it quick, we do not have much time before a gaurd notice that we are here"
So he explained everything; from the death of Robert Baratheon, too finding out about Robert Baratheons bastard that lives in flee bottom as a blacksmith and as the true line of succession goes he is the rightful heir to the throne.
Meaning Joffery was wasn't supposed to be on the throne and all of Cersis children was the product of incest with her twin brother Jamie Lannister, hearing all this information [Y/N] was stunned for word's but her time was up and she had to leave before getting caught but before she could leave Eddard told her the truth behind Jon Snow's parentage, he had noticed the slight bump which was forming on her stomach and guessed correctly of her situation.
Eddard)"[Y/N], whatever happens, protect them. Protect my family and swear to the old God's and the new right here that you will do anything in your power that they survive this"
"I promise uncle, to the seven, to the old God's and the new, that I will protect them even if I have to lay down my life"
With a nod she rushed out of the dungeon placed the torch back where she had found it then quickly followed her information back through the passageways that resided within the walls back to her horse that was still tyed up by the back entrence, thanking her informant she played him what she owed the got back onto her horse and rode back through King's Landing heading back to Winterfell to relay what she had found out.
Along the way she wrote a letter to Jon at castle black about how everyone was and how she was, wishing him luck as she told him not to die or get himself killed as she promised to visit the wall some time soon, she didn't dear mention anything about her pregnancy because by now he was under the brotherhood oath and didn't want anything to happen to him if someone else read their letters to one another.
As she rode through nature she placed a hand on her stomach as she thought about her future and what will happen, she made a promise to Eddard to keep his family alive and she intended to keep it, so once she gets back to Winterfell she will tell her brother's the promise she had made and hoped they too agreed to do the same.
She'll keep them alive even if it ment sacrificing herself.
Kicking her heels into Silver her sped his pace to a gallop down the path as [Y/N] tightened her grip on to the reins with a determined look on her face.
