"Hey Mia the pools all ready" David who was this pool guy my dad knew popped his head round the corner of the side door just as I was finishing up making myself a margarita, I know how fancy of me!
"Thanks so much, I really appreciate you coming and cleaning out the pool on such short notice" I gave him a toothy smile, handing him the money I owed for the Job he did for me.
"Hey it's free of charge, your dad was a good friend of mine I'm sorry for your loss" he handed me back the money shooting me a small smile
"Thanks man I'll give you a call if I need any help with the pool" he shot me a smile and wave before picking his things up and leaving out the back gate
I forgot to mention I had a pool but with it being a hot day today in L.A I thought I'd get it all cleaned up and invite everyone over, I unfolded some sun loungers placing them next to the pool. Slash should be here soon with duff and Lola, Steven Izzy and axl should also be making an appearance but In the time being I'm gunna go take a shower.
Slash's pov
Me and duff were heading to pick up Lola, then going over to Mia's house to all meet up for some drinks. we got to Lola's house she quickly got in and we made our way to ems.
"Hey slash that's was really cute what you did the other day for Mia, hey duff why don't I get that kind of treatment" Lola asked
"Hey you totally do" duff hissed
"Yeah yeah, I'm a good guy that's why" I laughed
"Have you told her yet?"duff nudged my shoulder
"No I'm going to when I see her" I kept my eyes on the road
"Okay let's just hope she takes it well, man it took a while for Lola to come to terms with the fact we're going on tour, but she's coming with so"
"Wait Lola's coming with us" i shot my head to look at duff
"Yeah is that a problem" Lola hissed
"Nah Lola geez calm down I was just thinking maybe if your coming so can em" I said
"Oh my god we totally have to convince her, duff wouldn't that be awesome, duff, slash" Lola shrieked in my ears

Mia's pov I was just finishing up in the shower when I heard the door shut, I guess slash is here. I continued my shower ignoring the noise, washing the soapy bubbles off my body. I heard the bathroom door slowly creak open.
"Slash?" I called out.
No answer
Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me. The house is quite old so it could just be those "settling" creaks.
