Neesa and I walked down stairs, where May and Kyarna where at the table eating lunch.

"Ah, look who finally decided to grace us with their presence!" Stated May.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"12:30 in the afternoon!"

My eyes widened.

"Whoa!" I exclaimed.

"Where's Mum?" Asked Neesa

"She's spending the day with Aunty Anne." Answered May.

A glimpse of relief came upon me.

"And What are you doing today?" I asked her.

"I'm taking Kyarna to hang out with Rikayla and Hannah for the day." She said.

"Cool. Well, me and Nees are gonna go get changed now." I said

We ran up the stairs, into my room and sat on my bed.

"Okay, so we go in exactly half an hour!" I said.

"Alright!" She said."

Neesa and I walked down stairs.

"We're leaving now!" said May. "And where are you to going?" She asked.

"We have a year of catching up to do!" Said Neesa.

"Fair enough!" Said May.

May and Kyarna left,then five minutes after, so did me and Neesa.

We walked to Popple Street, looking around, trying to see if there was anything supicious.

All of a sudden we came across a pink jacket that was laying on the grass out the front of one of the houses.

"What's that?" Asked Neesa.

"A cup of coffee! What do you is?" I said sarcastically.

"What I meant was, does that old guy, Mr Zest, live there, by himself? And, unless he has taken an interest in becoming a cross dresser!"

"Good point!" I Stated.

We walked over to Mr Zest's front lawn and stared at the pink jacket.

All of a sudden, I felt sick to my stamich

"This is Alli's!" I exclaimed.

A tear came to my eye as Neesa picked the jacket up.

"We have to find out more!" I said. "But how?"

"Knock on the door?" Asked Neesa!

I looked at her and rolled my eyes.

"Yeah and while we're at it, we can go to the end of the rainbow and steel the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!"

I have a feeling me saying that is gonna land me waking up with a black eye. Yeah, she may be sweet on the outside, try living with her for sixteen years!

For now she just rolled her eyes and gave me a little slap.

"Why don't we just walk around, see what else we find!" I said

"okay!" Neesa said back

We walked around the outside of the house when all of a sudden, Neesa gasped.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

She ran to a window at the bottom of the house and peered into the basement.

"What do you see?" I asked.

"Alli!" She shrieked.
