Chapter Fourty

"Morning Ms. Rose, morning Emile" Rider said coming down the stairs.
"Morning deary" Mom said.
"I still can't believe that Mom allowed him to sneak in this morning"Emile said.
" He asked me and its cute that he was trying to be romantic"Mom said.
"By the way Cyrus, will you be my girlfriend?" Rider asks in front of my family.

I literally stopped eating when he asked me that. I pushed out my chair and rushed out of the house not forgetting to take my car keys. I made my way to Becca's house in no time. I honked my horn three times and then leaned into my seat.

"Knock knock, stop dwelling and open the door"She said.

I opened the door and waited until she climbed. On the drive to school i decided to tell her what happened this morning.

"Sooooo, Rider asked me out this morning. In front of my family" i said.
"WHAT?!!!" She shouted.
"Yeah" I said.

We drove in silence until we got to school. We even got out the car in silence. To say that we were shocked would be an understatement. We avoided everyone and everything in our way. Becca had to direct me to my first three classes and even to the cafeteria.

After getting lunch, we sat in peace or so we thought. Rider and his click took a seat next to us. He sat next to me and just stared at me well stealing my fries after I ate one. If i took one he took one and it went on like this until there were no more left.

"You still havent given me an answer or are you going to ignore for as long as possible?" He asks interrupting my conversation with Baine.
"I don't remembering you asking me anything" i said deciding to act dumb.
"Yes you do. I asked you if you will be my girlfriend in front of your family if I might add" Rider said with a hint of annoyance.
"No you did not. Nothing happened this morning"I stated.
" Bullshit!!"He said slamming his hands down on the table and getting up.
"You know damn well what happened this morning! Play dumb all you want, but we both know what happened this morning!" He shoutef before storming off.

I was left with Baine, Lester, Becca and the whole cafeteria staring at me.

"What?!!! Do i look like a tv show to yall?! As you were!" i said turning my attention to my phone.
"That was just wrong Cyrus. I get that you scared and all, but he put it all out there for you. The least you can do is be honest with him" Lester said.
"You know nothing so i suggest you shut up" i hissed before leaving them there.
