Cyrus' POV...

Today's the day. Breakfast was quite quiet and somber.

No one speaking a word or even breathing heavy. There was a clear dark cloud above every head.

"Guys, I am only a couple hours away, you know" I said.
"Easy for you to say. Nothing is going to be the same without you" Emile said.
"I'll miss you too, bro" I said, leaning over to kiss him on the cheek.
"I want yall to take this as an opportunity to strive for whatever dream you have. Life's to short to be racing and fighting each night. Some of yall can actually make this a living or reach something different. Everything is in your hands, so go for it" I said, taking a bite of my pancake.

The room erupted as they started clapping.

"Look at you. Really embodying the grown life, hey" Big Bow said.

I let a little laugh and went back to eating.

"So what time are you leaving?" Mom asks.
"At 12, mom. Got quite a drive ahead of me so getting an early start ensures that I'll get there before peak starts" I said, taking my plate to the sink.

Mom didn't really say anything after that, shrugging it off, I went upstairs and started bringing my suitcases downstairs.

All I decided to take along was some clothes, shoes, some books and my make up. I'd purchase anything else there.

Everything looked like nothing. I was literally starting a life with nothing but money in the bank to be honest, funny how life works.

The boys took my luggage and loaded it into the car while the girls and I chatted up a storm.

The time seemed to go by fast because before we knew it, it was 20 to 12.

"Well shit, time to say goodbye. I want to know everything that happens back here while I am gone" I said as everyone made their way for a hug.
"You will be the first person I tell" Becca said, winking.
"Good" I said smiling.

There was an awkward silence before everyone bursted into tears.

"Hey, I hope I ain't to late" I heard from behind me.
"Look who decide to grace us with his presence"
"Second place!" Everyone shouted.
"Okay, I thought we were past that" Rider said shaking his head.
"NEVER!"
"So what brings you here?" I asked.
"Well after a not so thorough decision, I decided to tag along. I might stay longer than the summer though, if you'll have me" He say scratching the back of his head.
"As long as yall don't make any kids, fine by me" Mom said, causing everyone to laugh.

This wasn't something I saw coming.

"Sure, would be fun. Now I won't be lonely" I said showing middle finger to Mack.

I watched as Mack pulled a face, rolling his eyes.

"Whatever" Mack said.
"Shall we?" Rider asks, holding out his hand.
"We shall" I said taking his hand.

Here's to a fresh start and maybe true love. Who knows? Let's see how the timeline goes.
