Met you at a comp (abandoned)

The meeting

POV will most likely be third person the whole time but I'll show it like this so you'll know if it changes
  - Third person

  The drive was mostly calm and they only stopped twice. Once for a bathroom break and another for food. Sam slept for maybe thirty minutes before they had to stop for the bathroom break. Jayden hadn't slept once since he had a monster and cause he just couldn't, he was way too excited. At one point he started smelling food and turned around. "What the hell is going on back there?" His friend Gloria looked at him with a huge grin. "Dude someone is making fucking hot pockets!!" That is not what Jayden expected to hear. "Wha-" Just then he heard a microwave beep. "How the fuck did you get a microwave on the bus and where the fuck did you plug it in??" Jayden questioned amusement in his tone. One of the other seniors in the back spoke up. "The bathroom doesn't work for shit but it has a plug in to like charge your phone so I plugged it in and set it on the counter!" He said, puffing his chest out with pride. Jayden laughed and said "That's fuckin sick man!!" Suddenly Sam picked her head up and said "Yo Oscar make me one I'm starving!" "Comin right up!" Oscar said doing a little bow, like he was a waiter. "Oscar don't bother the director said we're stopping for food in like fifteen minutes." Jayden said as Sam pouted. "Wait for real?" Oscar said. "Yeah man. He said we're stoppin by Burger King or something." Jayden said, rolling his eyes as he saw Sam pulling another monster out of her bag. "Aight bet" Oscar said putting the hot pocket back in his bag. "Sam you just got up a few minutes ago, why" Jayden asked lookin a little annoyed, possibly concerned. "Exactly I gotta be awake for the burgers!" She said like it was obvious. "Oh my lord" Jayden rolled his eyes again.

  After what felt like forever they finally arrived at the school. "Oh my god finally" Jayden whined. They all started getting off the buses painfully slow. Once they were all off they heard a sophomore yell "Hey are we supposed to get in uniforms yet?" Jayden started wondering the same thing. "Just as he was about to answer the director responded. "No not yet we still have a few hours but have them out so they're ready!" "Thank god! I did not want to be in that uniform for that long." Jayden told Sam as they stretched. "Hey you wanna go explore the place." Sam asked already grabbing his hand. "Yeah sure lets go" Jayden said as they walked towards the director. "Hey teach is it ok if me and Sam wander a bit to stretch our legs and see the other bands?" Jayden asked as Sam waved behind him. "Yeah go ahead just be back at eleven and be careful." "Thanks teach! We will!" Jayden said as they jogged towards the stadium. "Sooooo~" Sam said in a sing-songy voice. "Oh no" Jayden thought. "You gonna look for a boyfriend?" She said smirking. "SAM!!" Jayden shouted starting to blush like crazy. "I TOLD YOU ALREADY I'M NOT LOOKING FOR-" "Wait Jayden stop-!!" Before she could finish warning him Jayden ran right into a person. Both of them fell to the ground. "FUCK-!!" Jayden cursed as he landed on his ass. A small "umph" could be heard from the other person. "Oh my god I'm so sorry man I wasn't looking where I was going a-" Jayden stopped talking as soon as he looked up. Sitting in front of him was the most beautiful man he'd ever seen. He was definitely taller than Jayden and his skin was a beautiful shade of light brown. His black hair was wavy and unkept and he definitely had on a school jacket. "Oh no I'm so sorry! I was listening to music and I didn't see you!" The man looked worried as he helped Jayden up. "I- uh-" Jayden was sure his face was red. "My names Benjamin but you can call me Ben." He said smiling gently. "Oh my god you're beautiful" Jayden blurted out. He didn't even notice he said it out loud. Ben giggled and said "Thank you" Jayden was puzzled. "What is he thanking me fo-" "HOLY SHIT I SAID THAT OUT LOUD!!" He shouted. Sam was laughing her ass off at this point. Ben was also giggling and Jayden was blushing like hell. "HOLY SHIT I KNEW YOU'D FIND A BOYFRIEND UP HERE! I'M SO TELLING YOUR MOM!" Sam shouted between wheezes. "DON'T YOU DARE SAM!" Jayden shouted back, still embarrassed. "I wasn't aware we became boyfriends" Ben replied, instantly shutting Jayden up. He looked at Ben stunned. "Wait is he gay? Does he like me? Are we together now? What is happening?" Jayden's mind was reeling. Just then he noticed they were still holding hands. He tried to let go but Ben kept holding on. "Um you don't have to hold my hand anymore." Jayden told Ben who was looking at Sam. She was now on the phone with who he assumed was his mom. "I'm so gonna kill her later" Jayden thought. "I know but I want to" Ben looked at Jayden with that soft smile. "I- uh- wha-" Jayden took a breath. "Ok since you won't let go do you wanna go watch the other band with us?" Jayden asked the taller. "Is this a fate then?" Ben said smirking. Jayden instantly blushed again. "I-I-I- mean i-if you want to it can be." Jayden replied slowly trailing off at the end. "Omg Camila they're going on a date now!" Sam squealed into her phone. "SAM STOP TALKIN TO MY MA!! AND WHEN DID YALL GET ON A FIRST NAME BASIS?!" Jayden shouted at Sam. "EVER SINCE SHE ACCEPTED ME FOR LIKING WOMEN!" Sam argued. Ben was giggling as they kept arguing. "JUST GO ON YOUR DATE AND BE BACK BEFORE ELEVEN!" Sam yelled at Jayden. "FINE!" He yelled back. "Geez I can't with that woman." Jayden said as he turned back to Ben. "She has quite the spirit" Ben said while chuckling. "When do you perform? We perform at 12:30." Jayden asked as they walked to find a spot. "We perform a little after you do. I think it's you guys, another band, then us." Ben replied. "That means I'll get to see you perform! Lets go!" Jayden said while pumping his fist. "I'll get to see you too!" Ben said excited. "Oh look they're getting on the field! Which band is this?" Ben asked Jayden as they sat down. "Holy fuck I think this is ENMU!! Let me text Sam!" Jayden said while pulling out his phone. "Wait really?! Isn't ENMU that really good college band? Why are they over here?" Ben questioned. "Idk but I'm glad they are now shush!!" Jayden replied while putting his finger over Bens mouth. "Ok ok I will" Ben giggled as he grabbed his hand. Jayden flushed a deep red as he kissed his finger. Jayden was about to say something back but just then the announcements came on. "ALL RIGHTY FOLKS! FOR OUR BRIEF BREAK PERIOD WE INVITED ENMU BAND TO PERFORM THEIR HALF-TIME SHOW FOR US!" As the crowd cheered the music started up and Ben grabbed Jayden's hand again. They chuckled and looked back to watch the show.

Omg I'm sorry for the wait but I had no motivation. I was randomly hit on my way home today so here's the new chapter! Some of this stuff is loosely based on experiences during one of my band trips. But I hoped y'all liked it and get ready for some more action in chapter three!!
