Chapter 2: two beds , two people , two outcasts

I saw Tommy's concerned face darting his eyes around terrified of all the potential roommates he could have for the rest of the semester . "hey its going to be fine " I said putting my hand on his shoulder "you'll see us everyday ok?" Tommy nodded and followed Wilbur to the boys dormitory building .

I put the headphones sitting on my neck back on my head and pulled out my phone from my pocket . I opened my phone and started listening to lemon demon . I made it to the girls building and took one headphone off one ear and checked the piece of paper I was given when I arrived .

2-8 , is what it said on my paper . I walked up the stairs to the second floor to find the last dorm of the hall 2-8.

I opened the door to see a blonde girl sorting clothes into a chest of drawers . "Um hi?" I said dropping my bags on the bare mattress. The girl turned around , she was wearing blue skinny jeans that made me cringe and had a blue tank top on with to scrunches on her wrist .

"Hey im Kimmy " she said picking something from off the ground "I'm Cameron " I said unzipping my duffle bag . After I finished unpacking my first bag I opened the next bag to see something I wanted to leave behind . My lesbian pride flag . I'm not as proud as I used to be after the breakup..

I looked at this flag I was holding and decided I wasn't going to hide who I was this year , I wasn't going to be ashamed . I hung it over my bed and turned around to see Kim giving me stink eye "wait your a lesbian ?" I just nodded slowly to her dumb question .

"That's fine and all but don't get a crush on me " I just blinked at her . Great my first roommate thinks I'm going kiss her in her sleep . I finished setting up my room and left the dorm to pick up my uniform from the reception .

I walked down the stairs and found the reception but someone was already collecting there uniform so I just awkwardly stood there looking around . Once it was my turn I gave her my dorm number and name and she handed me a box full of things I can wear for school .

I got back to my room and kimmy was gone I opened the box to find a pe kit , skirt, trousers and blazer with the Nevermore crest. It was was blue and stripy , I looked over at my shoe options and decided my docs were my best bet . I've had them forever so there really broken in . Maybe too broken in ?

I put on my uniform adjusting the collar a million times before walking out the door to see others dressed the same , except one . Instead of an interesting shade of blue with black stripes this one particular girl was wearing the same uniform with no colour?

She had long black braids and a sharp fringe and I think she wasn't blinking ? I took one look at her and then looked to my left to see Wilbur standing tall with his long legs . He was wearing a purple hoodie under his blazer unlike me who had a sweater vest underneath .

"Oh my god we just go here and I'm already dying " I said pulling the skin from under my eyes to make me look dead . "Is it really that bad for you?" Wilbur said laughing as if I was hilarious. " my roommate is a basic homophobic biotch " I explained frantically waving my arms around .

"Anyway who's your roommate ?" I said crossing my arms and looking around . "I just met him a minute ago his names ranboo , there a real nice person just very anxious . He's over there " wilbur said pointing to an unusually tall figure with half of his face being I'm guessing half enderman and the other being human .

"Hey guys " tommy said running up to us with someone beside him "this is tubbo my roommate , tubbo these are my torturers aka my siblings " I looked over to Tommy's roommate tubbo , his face was covered with burns that one of his eyes were white !

I gave him a nod before the two ran off to cause chaos . "Wanna do a lap ?" Wilbur asked me crouching his neck down to my level "sure" . We walked around the quad until we reached these stands . They were all advertising some sort of club or school event that was happening durning the year .

"Hi would you like a pamphlet about our Poe cup ?" An enthusiastic girl asked me , " what's that ?" Wilbur said intrigued "it's all in the pamphlet " she said handing us one .

Wilbur took one and grabbed my had dragging me outside from crowded quad to a bench in the corridor. Wilbur aggressively spread the pamphlet out on his knees so we could se all the pages . " it's a themed boat race " wilbur said smiling.
