"Edward we did it!! Edward we— Edward?" Adeleine cheered, before realizing that she didn't know where he was. She stood up, her legs hurt, but she continued to walk. Addie looked and dug through every single rubble pile she could find. She was about to lose hope when she saw his foot poking out of a pile of concrete. In a hurry, she scurried to get him out. The only problem with that, was when she got everything off him, he was impaled with a metal pole. Adeleine gasped she was angry, but also worried... and sad all at the same time. "Edward-- I--" "Don't talk. It's just a scratch."

"Just a scratch? Edward, You could be dying right now!" She fell to her knees next to him, beginning to sob. "Please don't leave us, you can do it, just say here, okay? Don't leave!" Adeleine held his hand, which was losing heat by the minute. "Edward, I promise you'll be alright, I'll get a doctor or an ambulance... please don't die on me-- not now-!" Through her tears, Addie whipped out her phone, dialing 911. Edward held his hand out to her... It seemed like he was trying to give her something. "Let's say I don't make it... Please give this to my husband. Tell him I love him and will always love him, even if I'm not there to show it."

She wanted to push his hand away. She really did. But refusing something like that would be disrespectful. She pocketed the locket, continuing to cry. "No-- No no no no no, you're going to make it! Edward, can you hear me? Edward?!?" Edward's hearing faded out, his vision was blurry, and he decided it was time to let go. He closed his eyes, dying right there in front of Adeleine. Addie screamed, that scream slowly fading into a screeching cry. A few minutes later, once the paramedics arrived, it was too late. Edward was already gone... And nobody could do anything about it.

The end.
