Xavier's POV:
Still holding her upright, her head started shaking back and forth once again. With a huge breath, her eyes shot open darting in every which way.
Lightly grabbing her shoulders, I tried to calm her down; she seemed frantic. "Wednesday, hey, it's okay, look at me. Deep breaths" I told her, keeping a firm yet soft grip on both of her shoulders.
Thankfully her breathing began to regulate as she finally looked back to me. And right as our eyes met, I became painfully aware of the position we were in; just how close she was to me.
Trying to push past any ill timed thoughts, I was hoping she knew what she saw in her vision. "I know you had a vision. What did you see?".
As if she just remembered that she had a vision, her eyes widened looking back to the arrow, and then looking back to me. "Silas".
Confused, I asked, "What about him?". But before I could get an actual response, she quickly got up out of my lap and took off around the archery area.
Following suit, I got up to follow her. Why couldn't she just tell me instead of taking off like that. I feel like things would be a lot more simple. "Wednesday! Wait up! What about him?" I called out to her, but her mind was on a one track path and of course it only involved her being in the know.
Slowing down her search, she finally stopped. "Where is he? He was just ehre" she said, still looking around the area.
I took a look myself, and I have to admit it is weird that he would just leave like that especially without signing out of practice. Plus to have left a single arrow behind didn't make a whole lot of sense either.
Turning back to Wednesday, I saw she was intensely staring at her phone, just like she had the first day I saw her back from break.
She looked up from her phone at me for a single moment, and without warning, then took off in a full out sprint into the woods.
"What the..." I said to myself, none of this making sense. But I won't let her go into those woods alone. Thankfully I know my way around really well from all my running. Taking off after her, I kept calling her name to get her attention but she wouldn't slow down. That's when I realized we were now nearing my art shed.
She stopped so abruptly that I almost went flying into her back. But there right at her feet was Silas, face down in the dirt.
"What the Hell?!" I exclaimed, grasping at my head to try and understand how this happened, what happened, and how she somehow had known that this happened and where he was.
Bending down to his level, she placed her fingers on his neck. "There's still a heartbeat. Help me get him back to the infirmary" she told me.
I just nodded along, understanding nothing but the fact that he needs help right away.
We carried him back into the school as far as we could, and the first person we saw I told them to go get the nurses to bring a stretcher.
Quickly making our way to the nurses became difficult as more students filed out in the hall to see what was going on.
Thankfully these two voices called out from down the hall through the sea of people. "MOVE OUT THE WAY" they yelled. It was the two nurses with a stretcher.
We quickly got Silas onto the stretcher and the nurses rushed him right back to the infirmary. We watched as he was rolled away, now just standing in the hall; still against the crowds of students following the spectacle.
