(Tsu'tey pov)

My ear twitched as a branch broke, and sounds of machinery filled the air. I gasped and stood up, watching in horror as the Tree of Souls was being torn down. I kneeled down and began shaking the sleeping girl.

"Y/n! Wake up!"

(Y/n pov)

"Don't forget your phase integration," Norm reminded Jake as I sat on my link, thinking about the previous night.

"Jake!" Grace called.

"No, no, the middle button,"

"You gotta eat something." She insisted.

"Yeah, there you go."

(Tsu'tey)

As the machines came closer I became more desperate.

"Y/n! Y/n. Wake up! Y/n, please!" I begged.

(Y/n)

"Don't make me force-feed a cripple." Grace said and Jake laughed.

"Grace, I don't want... Hey!" Jake said as she powered down his link.

(Tsu'tey)

I looked around desperately before grabbing her arm and dragging her away from a falling tree. I picked her up and threw her over my shoulders, moving away as quickly as I could.

(Y/N)

"Y/n? Hello, Pandora to Y/n," Grace said as Norm waved his hands in front of my face.

"Wha-huh?" I asked and Grace sighed.

"Have you eaten?"

"Yeah," I said as I grimaced at Jake who was shoving eggs into his mouth.

(Tsu'tey)

My movements began to slow as my bones grew tired, not used to the added weight of another body.

(Y/n)

"Here. I'm done. Let's go." Jake said, handing Grace his cup and plate. I stared forward, silently listening.

"When was the last time you took a shower?" Grace asked.

"I don't need a shower,"

"Jesus, Marine."

Jake laid down and Grace powered up the link, then she moved to my side.

"Are you going to lay down, or?" She asked.

"Oh," I said quietly. "Um, yeah, I am."

I laid down as she lowered the cage, "What's up with you?"

"Nothing important,"

"I seriously doubt that."

I sighed as took the cage off, sitting back up.

(Tsu'tey)

I dragged her on the ground now, finding it easier, but the machines were still nearing. I looked up as I heard someone screaming Jake's name and Neytiri was there, dragging Jake's body.

I don't even want to know why they're here but I sighed in relief as I saw Jake wake up. He stood up and yelled to the machines to stop as I called Neytiri's name.

She looked over and her eyes widened as she rushed to my side, together we pulled Y/n to the side, out of the machine's path.
