🍕 POV:

I woke up groggily to my alarm going off, shutting it off after a minute trying to find where I'd put my phone the night prior, turning it off I got out of bed stretching as I shook off any remainder of sleep before making my way over to my closet to get ready to start my first day at a new school.

Making my way over to my closet I pulled out a white top and a red flannel shirt to go over it with a pair of ripped jeans and my white converse before heading to the bathroom to shower.

(Change it if you'd like to)

After my warm shower, the cold air instantly hit me as soon as I stepped out before I rushed to get changed. Once I looked decent enough all while making sure I had everything I needed, I made my way downstairs to be met with a note left by my mom

"Good morning son, I've left for work earlier this morning while you were still asleep and I won't be back until later tonight, so I'll see you when I'm home, have a great first day at your new school.

Ps- I've left you some money on the kitchen counter.
-Love Mom."

I smiled at the note before putting it back down as I walked into the kitchen to see that she'd left a £20 note on the counter with some change next to it, putting it in my wallet before I left for my bus to school.

I hate school, well not school in general, more of the fact of starting a new one entirely, I didn't really understand why we had to constantly move house or schools...

Was it because of my mom's job? Yes
Was it because of the fights and drama caused in my old schools? Maybe
Was it because of my grades? No idea
Do I have good grades? They're debatable
Did I have a choice in the matter? Not at all
Am I an overall bad kid?

The last question struck me the most... Was I an overall bad kid? I have no idea, I mean I wasn't really the one who started arguments, but I was the type to finish what others started, I guess along with arguing with the teachers, getting detentions, causing stress for my mother and being an overall nuisance but I'm not exactly a bad kid, I just have some bad qualities.

I left the house knowing I had everything I needed for the day, locking the door behind me. I checked the time on my phone, it read 8:00AM. "Eight o'clock that should leave me with about half an hour to grab a coffee and something to eat while making it to school on time, sweet" I thought to myself as I set off towards the cafe a couple blocks down from where I live.

About five minutes later I arrived at the coffee shop, called Beans 'N' Bites. "Nice name" I thought to myself, walking inside as the smell of coffee, croissants and other baked goods filled my nostrils.

A few minutes later I received my order, which consisted of just a latte and a croissant, with a couple chocolate chip cookies for later on in the day, I thanked the barista before making my way out of the café, as I started my journey towards my new college where I'd be spending at least the next couple years, or hoping I would without having to move at least.

At some point on my walk towards the building where I'll be starting the next chapter of my life, with coffee in hand, I'd happened to zone out, for most of it due to being stuck in my own thoughts, that was until I checked the time on my phone, telling me that my ass was gonna be late if I didn't hurry up, "shit shit, shit!" I mumbled to myself, as I subconsciously began picking up speed, without realising I'd done so I began walking faster than humanly possible, (or so I thought, I was practically running at that point) causing me to zone out again as I focused on the time more than my surroundings from panicking too much.

"Oi! Watch where you're fucking going!"

While stuck in my own thoughts and still not paying attention to my surroundings or where I was going for that matter, I eventually zoned back into reality lay on the floor in slight pain and covered in coffee, after feeling the sudden impact of running into someone with full force, in addition to the unintelligible yelling coming from a rather pissed off, tall brown-haired male who appears to be around at least 6ft, wearing a burgundy beanie, circle glasses, a Los Campesinos! Hoodie and black skinny jeans covered head to toe in coffee, that I'd accidentally knocked all over him.

Not gonna lie, he was kinda cute that I couldn't help but stare as my hearing adjusted itself.

"Are you fucking deaf or something?" The brunette asked as if taunting me as I looked at him in confusion as I raised a brow. He scoffed before repeating himself "I said watch where you're going, you fucking dipshit!"

I snapped out of my thoughts, standing up and dusting myself off in the process, as I finally spoke up.

"Oh shit! I'm sorry man I-I didn't mean to run into you like that, I wasn't watching w-where I was going or keeping an eye on my surroundings, I-It's my f-first day here and-" I was cut short from my rambling as he shoved me away from him as I nearly ended up back on the floor.

"Just get the fuck outta here, I don't need your sad stories or a book on your pathetic life, just get the fuck away from me!" he snapped, pushing me before scoffing again.

I took my leave, scoffing as I walked away muttering to myself "asshole!" before I headed to the front desk to pick up my schedule then made my way up to the second floor where my courses would be held.
