"Well child I am the one who was trained alongside your master's master. In the beginning there were two of us and before us there were many others who were guided together but separately, just like us. We were trained by the previous two physically and spiritually, but times changed really fast and the great wars began when the great evil controlled people with their wishful desires leading them to do evil against one another. The Gods saw that and sent one of them in a form of a little girl, the God of LOVE. She was born human by humans but she was one of them. When she was born things changed in the village she was born in and peace reigned, but she had one mission and one mission only...to confine the great evil so that people lived in peace. That village was the only one which did not participate in the wars because she was already born at that time.

She had managed to bring happiness to everyone while she had the most difficult mission but she did the best she could and that was confining the evil deep beneath the earth in a cave. She lit the fire and the walls of the hole caved in an mixed with the fire creating an eternal fire that no one could ever put out. She succeeded and created an iron key to lock the hole and gave it to the village elders for safe keeping. Then she went to a mountain and carved a cave and lived there until the Gods brought her back to the heavens. No one went in the cave as they thought she was resting after such a difficult mission but when the elders went to the cave and didn't find her, they went back to the village to tell her parents and the villagers that she had gone home. No one cried because they remembered how she always wanted them to be joyful and live peacefull.

The villagers went to the cave with permission from the elders to carve a stone statue of the older version of herself dancing and smiling like she always did, they would go to the cave and pray and leaving offerings for their great saviour and also ask for blessings which they actually recieved. After three decades the elders were growing weak and old so one of them suggested that they break down the iron key with the last of their spiritual energy to keep it safe forever. They successfully broke the iron key into four pieces for each of them to hide separately so that no one found it. The elders took separate directions to the North, South, East and West so that none of them knew each others hiding spot and that way the evil would never escape it's confinement. No one knows what happend after that or if the elders plan was successful or not.

I was trained by the two immortals before me and I trained your master, the Gods were very specific on who was to be trained and where that person will be born and also the names if thier parents. When we departed from the immortal realm the Gods were very specific about training your master and your master's sworn brother to be open minded, we didn't know why but I guess now I see the reason. We trained your master and madam Lan's grandfather at the same time and place hand in hand, your master was to teach her knowledge to you and madam Lan's grandfather taught it to his one and only granddaughter which was madam Lan and this was why your children were the chosen ones. Their ranks are way more important than ours because they are etrenaly destined, this means no one will ever be trained for these kinds of missions ever. They are the last ones so child...believe me when I tell you that your son is the one who was protecting you.

The Gods will surely make them pass thorough difficult and dangerous obstacles because they are different from us, we had limited powers but they don't. So child...I would like you to remember this, madam Lan's grandfather's master did not give them the gift I am giving you right now because they have their own family and clan to stand by their son, even Lan Wanji's brother is his greatest support, but when coming to Wei Wuxian it's a different story. Wei Ying had already finished preparing the old lady's bath and he was in the other room meditating when his mother and the old lady were speaking. He went to the old lady's bedroom and sat down on the chair and placed her hand on the old lady's head and smiled a genuine smile.

It was like he saw thought the old lady's eyes what she had just said to his mother and in a way he was appreciating that in his own way, which was like patting your child's head, the old lady understood that Wei Ying was way older than her in spirit and she felt blessed to have experienced that love and gratefulness from her senior who was still a child at the time. They sat there talking about random things but those random things were too difficult for a mere mortal to understand, his eyes were lit red and it was the old lady was very fortunate to have to speak with Wei Ying's self and spiritual self. This was the greatest gift ever and she knew this was once in a lifetime opportunity.
