Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard a light tapping on the door and I groaned before groggily getting out of bed and opening the door.
"Bradley?"
"You forgot your sweater," he said as he offered it to me.
"Oh," I whispered, reaching out to take it. "Thank you."
I swallowed hard as I pulled the sweater against my chest, my heart beginning to race once more as Bradley stood in front of me wearing a loose pair of pajama bottoms that hung from his hips.
"I- uh- I'll see you at work in a few hours," I muttered with a small smile. "Thanks again for bringing this back."
"Just trying to be a team player," he replied, his eyes scanning over my body but lingering on my chest where I held the sweater.
"Something wrong, Bradshaw?" I questioned as I noticed that his gaze had certainly not been on my face.
"That was mine."
"Huh?" I looked down and quickly realized that the Phillies tank top I had on, I had taken from Bradley not long after we had started dating. "Oh, I guess I've had it for so long that I forgot where I had gotten it from."
"It looks good on you," he replied, swallowing hard. "It always has."
I watched Bradley and I couldn't help but stare at his body. Over the years, he had become incredibly toned and tan and his body was making my brain turn into mush.
He had to have noticed my ogling of him because a smirk began to pull at the corners of his lips.
"What?" I questioned as soon as I noticed the smirk.
"You, Ryder Cain, are blushing."
"It's just hot in my room," I replied quickly. "Don't flatter yourself."
"Why are you acting like that?" Bradley asked with a brow raised. "You're far from being mean and scary."
"Because it's better if we keep one another at a distance. Even if you didn't have a girlfriend, there's no way we should ever be involved with one another again beyond working together."
I was so convincing that I had even convinced myself that I didn't want to be around Bradley when the truth had been that I would've done anything to be in his arms at that very moment.
"Are you seeing someone?" Bradley asked as he leaned against the doorway.
"Nope. I work better alone these days."
Bradley reached out and ran his thumb over my shoulder where I had a nasty scar that peeked out from underneath the shirt.
"Remember when you got that?"
"Warped tour," I laughed with a smile. "I was so excited to see Falling in Reverse and G-Eazy that I didn't even care that I was bleeding."
Bradley and I both chuckled and caught one another's gaze, holding it for a long moment before we could no longer stay apart and were drawn together like a moth to a flame.
In an instant, the door was closed and my back was pressed against it as Bradley's lips found mine and I moaned softly as my fingers tangled in his hair.
I became putty in his hands and he knew it. Without any hesitation, his hands moved just under my ass and lifted me up before I wrapped my legs around his waist. Without wasting a single moment, he walked us to my bed and laid me down before trailing kisses along my jaw and down my neck, leaving a long kiss on the scar we had just been talking about.
"Bradley," I moaned softly, trying to keep everybody in the building from hearing us. "Please."
"We have all night," he whispered as he kissed back up to my lips and playfully nipped at my bottom lip as his hand snaked up my shirt and kneaded my breasts.
I whined, wanting him more in that moment than anything else. Screw all night. I needed him now and the heat between my legs had confirmed it.
"Please don't be chivalrous," I begged as I pulled him to me by his dog tags, my hips rolling against his causing us to both moan.
Without any hesitation, Bradley hooked his fingers in my shorts and pulled them down along with my underwear before tossing them behind him.
"You sure about this?" He questioned and I nodded, my eyes dark with lust.
"I'm still on the shot. We're good."
We were beyond the point of no return. I may hate myself for what we were doing but that was tomorrow Ryder's problem.
I watched Bradley sit back on his knees to pull his pajama bottoms down and his erection stood at full attention, which intimidated me that much more.
"God, you look so beautiful," he muttered as his fingers traced circles around my clit, making me whimper for more contact. "And you're so needy."
Bradley smirked as I tried to move my hips against his hand but his free hand held me still.
"Please," I begged breathily and he lined himself up with me before slowly pushing himself inside, allowing me to adjust to his size.
He looked and felt bigger than before and I wondered how that was possible but then again, I really didn't care.
"Are you okay?" He questioned as he kissed my neck, nipping lightly at the sensitive skin.
I nodded, my back arching slightly as I adjusted to his large size, before he slowly began to thrust.
"Like I said, don't be chivalrous," I muttered, nearly breathless.
Bradley picked up his pace, his thrusts rougher as he reached between us and rubbed my clit and making me cry out in pleasure.
"I'm close," I whimpered.
"So am I. You feel so good," he groaned.
As I reached my high, Bradley did too and without a second thought, he released a string of profanities as he found his own release inside of me.
"That's my good girl," he groaned and my heart fluttered at his words.
As we caught our breaths, Bradley rolled beside me and pulled me close to him, peppering soft kisses on my face. I shifted so that I could lay my head on his chest and hear his heartbeat, the beat of it making me feel at ease before I came to a startling realization.
Bradley was in a relationship and I was the other woman.
