thursday march 31st

NAILEA JOHNSON

"nailea, ya estas despierto!?" my mom yells from the kitchen, (nailea, are you up yet!?)

"yes!" i say as i finish my makeup

today was my first day at my new school, we just moved to sugarhill and i aint know anyone

"mija, estas emocionada por tu primer dia?" my mom asks as i walk down to leave
(are you excited for your first day?)

"a little i mean ion know anyone" i say nodding grabbing a peace of toast to eat

"bye mom" i say hugging her as i have the toast in my mouth

i start walking to school and finally get there

"hello, you must be out new student, nailea right?" the lady at the front desk said

i nod my head as she gives me a paper which im assuming is my bell schedule

i go to first period, science

"oh class i almost forgot, this is ohr new student , nailea, i expect that you all would treat her with respect." mrs smith the teacher says

i smile akwardly and wave

"go ahead and sit over there, by ethan" she points to the back of the corner

the guy is jst on his phone

i go sit by him as he looks up from his phone,

he gets up pulls my chair out

"hey" he says sitting back down, i sit down as i smile at him

"hey"

the class starts and i put one of my airpods in as i feel a tap on my shoulder

i turn and see it was ethan

"you got a pencil i can borrow?" he asks whispering

i nod my head as i pull one out from the bag and hand it to him

"thanks ma" he says before turning back and doing his work

ma? thats new

the class finishes and i start to pack my stuff up

im about to walk put the door before ethan pulls me aside

"hi, im ethan" he says, i look at him confused

"yea i know-" i cut myself off before finishing what i was gonna say

"im nailea" i smile at him

"maybe we can go out sum time?" he says putting his arm around me walking out the class room

"well when are you free?" i say as we continue to walk to out next class

"tommorow night?" he asks as we get to our next class

he takes his hand off me so the teacher wont say anything

i nod my head as we get to our seats

"alr ima talk to you after ma" he says as the class starts
