"Ughhh I hate outreach dayyy" My best friend complained as he sat down besides me. "Everyone does" I reply opening my paper to see where I'm working today. "Hey, what'd you get?", "the weathervane, you?" "Also the weathervane"

Outreach day was when us "weird" kids went into Jericho to help them with their jobs. We're all assigned a random job, luckily, this year I got the weathervane with my best friend, and the weathervane is also where my boyfriend works. The only unlucky thing, is that my boyfriend and my best friend HATE eachother.

My boyfriend, Tyler destroyed Xavier, my best friends mural that he painted last outreach day. Which is why it was such a big deal for me to date Tyler, I always had to hangout with one, or the other, never both. Maybe today would be the day to change things.. or make things worse.

"kill me" Xavier mumbled as we walked into the weathervane. "Y/n what are you doing here" my boyfriend questioned, "outreach day" I answered grabbing an apron. "Ok, why's your friend here?" Tyler asked noticing Xavier standing beside me. "I'm stuck in this awful place with a your loser ass" he insulted. I hit Xavier for his remark. "I'm just gonna go to the back, don't be a total bitch to the costumers, even though you are one" tyler complained walking towards the back.

"Don't" I command holding onto Xavier's wrist. "Oh come on he's suck a jerk. You really like him?" "Yes, I really like him, and I'm sorry you guys don't get along but you need to get over it" I said.

"Hey Y/n, can I talk to you?" Xavier came up to me as I cleaned a table. "Sure just hold on a second" I answered wiping down the table. As I finished Xavier sat down with me across from him at the table.

"What's wrong" I asked concerned at his face, "I've been thinking..." he spoke looking down at the table. I grabbed his hand rubbing it, reassuring him it was ok, "Wednesday, she's convinced that I-I'm the m-monster" he continued.

I felt so bad for him. All he's done was be kind to Wednesday, but she doesn't care. She just makes him feel bad about himself. Xavier loved Wednesday and to her, he was a monster. There were many times he would come to my dorm crying because Wednesday has confronted him on being evil.

"Hey y/n, do you- " Tyler walked out of the back, "do I what?" I asked taking my hands away from Xavier's. "Never mind" he said coldly walking to the back again. "Oh look, the jerks showing his real colors" Xavier spoke, "get to work" I told him as I stood up from my seat.

I stepped into the back room. Tyler was sat at a desk with his fist clutched. "What's wrong?" I asked pulling up a chair to sit besides him. "Him." He answered with hints of anger in his voice. "Tyler he's been working all day, what could he have done?" I asked confused. "Take you away from me" he muttered quietly. "What? Speak up I can't hear you" you said. "He's taking you away from me!" He screamed.

What could he be talking about, Xavier taking me away from him? Oh, he's jealous because Xavier was holding my hand.

"Are you jealous" I teased, "shut up" "Tyler, I don't like Xavier, I like you" "then why would you hold his hand" he asked with tears starting to form in his eyes. "He was upset, I was just trying to make him feel better, I don't love him" you assured, "so you- don't like him" he asked again, "no I don't like him, I love you and only you"

I pulled him into a hug, he rested his head agenst my chest. My hands moved up and down, rubbing his back. "I love you too" he replied.
