Depression was something I heavily struggled with. No matter how many people were there for me, I felt alone. Always.
"Babe are you ready?" My fiance called from the living room.
I smeared the foundation on my face to clear up my complexion. "Almost." I yelled back.
"We're going to be late." He yelled.
I sighed. I didn't feel like going to this stupid new years eve party. I opened my bedroom door and stepped out. "Javi I really do not want to go." I felt fat. I also didn't feel like socializing.
"Can you just hurry up." He sighed. "You're always being so damn dramatic y/n." A knock broke up the argument before it continued. "Who the hell?" He flung open the door to a ups worker.
"Package for a y/n yl/n." I peeked out at a package that was almost as tall as Javi.
"What the hell did you order." He mumbled unhappily pulling the large package in the house.
"I didn't order anything." I looked at the package confused.
"Well now we're definitely going to be late." He was annoyed but went to grab a box cutter. He came back and carefully sliced open the box. There was a note. I carefully pulled it off of the packaging.
Y/N,
I hope this helps you feel better. Happy holidays.
Love,
Mom."It's from my mom." I said softly. I carefully cut the thick paper in front of whatever was behind it. "What the hell?" I said as a flawless looking boy my age was revealed.
"Is this your mothers idea of a damn joke?" Javier said annoyed.
I grabbed the realistic doll and gently pulled him out of the package. He felt almost real. He had no directions at all. My mom was a little strange and always sent the weirdest things.
"Just leave it we're going to be late." Javi growled.
"Okay I guess." I placed the doll down on the couch. I'd figure it out later and walked to the room to put on my heels. "I'm ready." I said walking back out.
"You look horrible, you could have at least brushed your hair." He grabbed my wrist and pulled me out of the house.
I touched my curls with my free hand, you can't just brush curls. However, I wasn't arguing with him. Did I really look horrible? I sighed.
As I figured this party was nothing I wanted to attend. Javi's friends were all dressed up and sipping expensive champagne."Hello y/n" Hogan a girl married to Javi's friend said. I rolled my eyes at her knowing damn straight she was probably just shit talking me with Courtney. The blonde next to her. Courtney was married to Javi's best friend.
"Don't be like that y/n." Courtney made a dramatic frown.
I just walked away grabbing a glass of champagne and drinking it in one big gulp. The party dress I was forced into wearing felt like it was a python constricting me it was so tight. I really just wanted to go home. I walked over to Javi who was talking amongst his friends about whatever was happening in the sports world. I gently tugged on his arm.
