Jimin and I sat on the floor of my living room with the bags of everything we had bought today and we shared a pint of ben and jerry's half baked.

"This is so good." Jimin said taking another scoop.

"'Mm I agree, it's my favorite."

Before much more conversing could be done the front door slammed open to a pissed off looking Javi.

"You forgot to pay my phone bill."

"I forgot? I told you about it 20 times." I looked at him.

"Now my phones not working because you can never do anything." He threw his phone on the floor and walked up the stairs as his friend came in the house.

The door to our room slammed and his friend awkwardly stood in the door way. "Hey y/n." He waved. "And hi um.... Whats his name?" He pointed to Jimin.

"Hey Jungkook, this is Jimin."

Jungkook made a lip smacking noise. "Hey Jimin." He walked over to us. "Sorry about um Javier's outburst. I tried telling him-"

"It's fine Jungkook." I smiled. "No biggie."

"So wheres your friend from?"

"He's a robot."

Jimin looked down nervously. "Robot huh?" Jungkook kneeled in front of him. He pinched Jimin's cheek. "You look and feel human."

Jimin swatted Jungkook's hand away. "Please don't pinch my cheek." He rubbed his cheek where it was pinched.

"Sorry." Jungkook laughed. "How is Javi taking to having him here?" He looked at me.

I shrugged. "He acts the same, you know moody."

He nodded. "Tae said to say hi by the way."

"Where is he today?"

Jungkook shrugged. "Who knows, probably out flirting."

The both of us laughed then I turned to Jimin. "Taehyung is my friend. He's a romantic but doesn't like commitment. It scares him."

Jimin scrunched up his nose. He seemed to do that a lot. "Isn't that an oxy moron?"

"Yes." Jungkook laughed. "It is."

"Lets go Jk." Javier walked out to us. "And don't talk to that thing." He glared at Jimin. "An abomination to humans." He kicked Jimin's leg as he walked by.

Jimin reached out and grabbed Jungkook. "How is someone this nice your friend?" Jimin looked Javi in his eyes.

"Don't you have to go recharge your battery." Javi laughed pushing Jimin's arm off of Jungkook. "Now I believe I said lets go Jungkook."

Jungkook put his head down and whispered a bye to us then walked out with javi. Jungkook and Tae were my childhood friends. Javier met them both through me and back when we first started dating. Javier ended up knowing Tae's older brothers Namjoon and Jin from school. Eventually Javi changed into who he is and I was no longer allowed to hang out with them. I assume he must feel very similar about Jimin.

"He's an asshole." Jimin said then covered his mouth. "Sorry."

"He can be an asshole sometimes." I smiled pulling his hand off of his mouth.

"Why do you stay?"

"I love him."

"But I don't think he loves you."

"No offense Jimin but you aren't a human, your emotions aren't the same as ours. You learned how to feel but theres no actual... never mind." I said softly as his eyes changed to a lavender. "What does lavender mean?" I ran my thumb under his eyes.

"Lavender?" Jimin squinted.

"Your eyes. They're lavender."

He blushed. "Love."

I jumped back. "You can feel love?"

He blushed a little harder. "Yes... I mean... I don't know. It was said we can't but if we did our eyes would be purple."

"You love me?" I smiled at him.

"You're very pretty and um nice." He refused to make eye contact.

I grinned. "Cute." A blush forming on my own face.

"I really think Javi is mean to you. You deserve better."

"I know but I love him. I can't just leave him." I sighed. "It's complicated."

"No it isn't." He shook his head. "You don't want to leave because you don't want to... not because it's complicated."

"I guess thats true."

"You deserve better."

I sat down on the floor and hugged my knees. "Leaving is scarier than staying. I know what to expect here. I know what happens."

Jimin sucked in his cheek. "What if your mom bought me for you to fall in love with me and... and leave him."

"Fall in love.... With you?" I laughed. "Jimin we could never... you aren't.... Well you're a robot."

He blushed. His eyes also changed to another color. Indigo. "Yeah I guess that makes sense."

"Indigo. Your eyes are indigo."

"Sadness." He looked into my eyes. "We shouldn't feel that either."

"I'm sorry Jimin it's just I'll age and you... you'll be you forever."

"No I get it." He sighed.

"But my mom did get you for me for a reason. I just don't know that reason yet."

Jimin dropped his head and sighed. "I think I might actually be tired. We did a lot so far today. Shopping and ice cream... meeting your friend."

"If you'd like to take a nap you can use my bed." I pointed to the door of my room.

"What if Javier comes back?"

I shrugged. "To hell with him."

"What if he hurts you?"

"He'd never actually hurt me. Just yells a lot. He's dramatic. But you'll see he isn't a bad guy. He just has to warm up to you."

Jimin stretched then walked up to my room sleepily. I figured I better start dinner before he wakes up and Javier gets back. Both would be hungry. I think. I really want Javi to like Jimin. And I wanted Jimin to like Javi. Baby steps. I hope. Small steps. Eventually it will happen.

Or so I hoped.
