several days have passed since then. felix apologised to changbin and hyunjin for separate reasons and the tension between the three vanished. although changbin slightly distanced himself from the omega, he still made sure he was well.

hyunjin on the other hand has been ecstatic with the number of cuddles and attention he has been receiving from the omega. he was on cloud nine. or maybe higher than that.

it was about a week till minho's 20th birthday, and the younger members were planning a slightly bigger party than what they had done for their leader. no not favouritism. it was minho's first step into the big 2s that's why! chan didn't want a big party anyway.

"shall we go shopping?" hyunjin suggested, perching his head onto the shoulder of the omega sitting in between his lap.

"yeah we should!" jisung chirped, starting a string of positive responses towards hyunjin's suggestion.

"should we invite changbin?" seungmin asked, looking at felix and hyunjin for approval.

but before the duo could agree, jeongin interjected, "i heard the three of them are meeting mr. lee today." he said, referring to changbin, minho, and chan.

"ohh! let's go without them then!" felix jumped up, a little too excited.

"with little guards too?" jisung wearingly asked. it would be an almost full-day trip to the lee residences and they may be taking almost all the strong men with them too.

"nah we don't need guards. we're strong too! come on!" hyunjin huffed, trying to ease the omega's anxiety.

"fine. where shall we go?" jisung sighed.

"to the mall duh? we'll be safe there." seungmin grinned.

soon, the five of them were in the car, heading towards the mall in the city.

hyunjin at the driver's seat with jeongin in the shotgun instead of felix. mainly because felix demanded to sit with his best friend, jisung. hence, it was jisung, felix, and seungmin in the back.

it took about a 30 minutes drive of which felix sang at the top of his lungs while the rest tried planning an itinerary to do and buy.

"woah" was all jisung could say as he admired the rather large bustling building. once the car was parked in the underground carpark, the alpha and betas ensured that at least one of them was with an omega at all times.

better be safe than sorry.

the first stop - lunch at a sushi restaurant

they sat near a conveyer belt with a variety of freshly made sushi dishes for them to choose from. they could order other things off the menu if they wanted to as well. but of course, they just took what was placed on the belt. interacting with the staff was a no go, especially for them introverts. maybe not felix, but he just didn't want to interact with strangers much that day.

the second stop - the bookstore

there was a new novel that minho's favourite author had recently released. but because of the upcoming elections, he had been too busy to get it. hence, hyunjin decided that he would give it to him for his birthday instead.

they made sure they got a new copy from the back that has never been touched by idiots who flip through books, bending the covers before it's even sold.

they paid for a wrapping service and bought a nice paper gift bag to put all their gifts inside.
