Down, down, down went the Golden Guard. He couldn't help but finally catch a glance at the portal where the silhouette of his Uncle flickered away and showed Kikimora before it zipped close.
He screamed for his companion to wake up. "FlapJack!" Y/N yelled, reaching out for the red bird before elooking to the side and seeing a bunch of colors. Are those, 'DRAGONS?!' The word raced through his mind. He couldn't tell if the lumps on the back were people or spines as they chased glowing smaller firefly like dragons.
Yelling as he continued to fall straight through the flock of glowing lava like birds/dragons. "FlapJack! Wake up buddy!"
"HICCUP!" A female voice screamed as the pair got closer and closer to the water, with heaving lungs, he screeched one more time.
"FLAPJACK!!"
He hadn't hit the water, what happened? Slowly opening his eyes he looked up seeing his old pal. "Oh thank Titan!" He relished in releif and grabbed the staff with both hands. Apparently, FlapJack caught him by the back of his shirt.
