“Battery City has done terrible things.” Dr. D explained. “They wish to eradicate the world of imperfections, though that includes emotions, color, and fun. There are no dangers in Battery City, well promised there will be none after the fires settle down. But that also means there is no excitement.” Dr. D made a gesture, and Pony brought back a map. Dr. D pointed somewhere on it. “That is Battery City.” He then pointed a little bit away from Battery City. “We are here, in Zone Three.”

He handed the map back to Pony and the roller skater rolled off. “They set the Zones on fire, then the city. The city wasn’t known as Battery City then, but it was known as Los Angeles. They set it on fire to basically erase the color and imperfections, and they plan to rebuild everything. From what I understand, they are setting the place on fire in segments, rebuilding, then starting over again in a new place. I do not know how that is possible, but such mysteries do not linger in my mind, and they shouldn’t worry you.” Dr. D said, softly playing with Party’s hair.

“Do you think my brother will be okay?” Party asked.
