(Thank you so much julialee5608, I was so so happy when I saw this amazing btw ❤❤)

My head ached for two days straight. I haven't spoken to anyone. I've felt too sick to face anyone.

Stolas put me in an unused bedroom and checks on me periodically, but because his wife doesn't know I'm here, he wants to try to keep it that way. We both don't want a squawking bitch rampaging anywhere.

"Uhh, knock knock." An unfamiliar but interesting voice followed a face that peaked around the door corners. She looked quite like Stolas if he had been born a girl. Which now I think about it, it's quite unsettling. She wore a beanie, a pink and white shirt and slim boots. "Dad told me to bring this to you."

Her voice was smooth, and soft but velvety in some ways. It caught my attention the most.

The girl set a plate of food down next to the stack of others, her face scrunched while looking around the room. It wasn't a mess, but it wasn't clean either. I doubt I look like I made it any better. I didn't acknowledge her, opting to stare at the detailing of the walls instead. I was tired of having to deal with others so maybe if I pretend nobody exists, I'll feel better.

She began walking towards the door. Her legs gracefully gliding on the cold tiled floors, short quiet clack sounds echoing from under her heel. Her sent was near, not yet gone. I had begun to hope that she had left, closing my eyes and waiting to go back to sleep. Instead, I heard the light footsteps come back, and then the feeling of crinkled sheets and a dip in the bed disturbed my somewhat comfortable position.

"Soo Uhm... you good?" Her slender fingers tapped the bed sheets beside her. The awkwardness of the girl hadn't taken this weird grace she had away instead it complemented her in ways I couldn't describe. It kind of brought me joy watching her uncomfortably try and work with this situation.

"Hmmm"

"Uhhh..." she paused, "did you want to go somewhere?" It was so obvious how fiddly she was having to talk to a total stranger.

"No."

One look at her face and I wanted to laugh hysterically, scrunched and sour.
"Your dad made you do this" Stolas was sweet in the way that he wanted to help so he'll find every way possible to make it smile.

She groaned and pulled her hat over her face as if to agree with my thoughts. I shook my head, I didn't want to go but a lecture from him I do not want. He's already yippee my ears off with... unnecessarily dark and disturbing stories.

Within the hour I had gotten dressed, cleaned my teeth and groomed my matted and wild hair. Dreading how I'd have to exit I tried to elongate the time it took to lean up.
"I'll jump the window and meet you down there?"

"Jump from that height?" She asked curiously.

Shrugging my shoulders, I hummed, "Being a "low level" imp has its perks, we won't die from decent heights but it still hurts. As my mum use to say 'we're just bouncy'" being in the profession I had come to be in, I've seen a lot of people "bounce".

Her face had turned amused but concerned, I found it entertaining for the most part.

No more stalling now, I had to get this over and done with. I wish I didn't have to do this, my legs she from jumping awkwardly last month.

I'm actually proud of myself as upon attempting to get down from this massive house, I didn't fall on my ass. This room didn't have a balcony or bushes I could possibly land on. The walls had enough grit and suspiciously placed pipes that I managed to get down. Although I did get bit by a few bugs and scratched by the wall.
