Neteyam's POV

"That's-" I turned to look at what is apparently Talion, the large creature breathing heavily, "-is Talion?" I looked at my parents, them nodding. I felt excitement bubbling in me, I knew about Talion's past, but I did not know it would manifest as this.

It then dawned on me as I looked at Talion once more.

He saved my life.

Talion's POV

I breathed heavily, looking down at myself, seeing the body of an ikran instead of the body of a Na'vi. Is this what has been scratching at me inside? I have felt that scratching ever since I was a kid, though I never indulged or told Neytiri and Jake about it.

I am not scared; this feels natural, and that scratching is finally nulled.

"Talion?" Jake spoke up, stepping towards me, reaching forward, and pulling Neteyam behind him.

I chuffed, laying my new body down, showing I meant no harm. All other ikran had flown away at my landing, so I wasn't too worried about that black and yellow ikran coming back.

"Are you in there?" He asked cautiously, me chuffing once more.

I need to turn back into my usual form.

I willed myself to do so, my form slowly shrinking, and the noise of bones cracking sounded. I was in my usual form before them in just a few moments.

I saw Neytiri and Jake relax significantly; Neteyam then came and ran out from behind them.

He ran into me, pulling me into a hug, me not having time to hug back before he pulled away, smiling from ear to ear.

"That is so cool! How did you do that?" he asked me, feeling my cheeks get slightly warmer, not having time to answer his questions when he turned to Neytiri and Jake. "Can we go flying?" he asked eagerly.

Neytiri didn't look to like the idea; Jake looked back at her, then back at me.

"Talion-" He asked warily, "-can you control yourself?"

I shrugged, "I was in just as much control as I am now."

Jake sighed; Neytiri walked up beside him and said, "Do you feel any different?"

I shook my head, "Not really."

Neteyam then spoke up, having calmed down a bit, "So can we?" he asked, trying to hide the eager tone in his voice.

Jake and Neytiri looked at each other before looking back at us, Jake speaking up this time.

"Fine, but you better not do anything stupid; be back by eclipse." He ordered Neteyam and me, us trying to hide our smiles.

"Yes, sir." We both said in unison before immediately turning, running to the cliff, and jumping off together without hesitation.

"What did I just say!"
