Talion's POV
"What were you two knuckleheads thinking?" Jake shouted, both Neteyam and I putting our heads down, our ears pinning back in shame. "You could have been seriously injured or lost!"
We had no response, our mother angrily pacing back and forth, trying to find the words to say to us.
"You two are lucky I do not pluck your eyes out right now with how foolish you have acted." She hissed, her accent heavy as she spoke Na'vi.
"I expect this behavior from Talion-"I turned my head away, unable to look Jake in the eye, "-but from you, Neteyam? I expected better."
I could see him flinch in the corner of my eye, his face turning into one of regret, and, just like me, he was unable to look Jake in the eyes.
But before Jake or Neytiri could continue to shout at us or, more than likely, ground us, the sound of a deep horn rang out. This specific horn was only used when a threat was upon us, one that made both Jake and Neytiri forget whatever punishment they had in store for us.
"Stay here-" Jake looked at us, "-and I mean it."
He and Neytiri rushed out of the tent to see what it was about, Neteyam sitting down next to the quiet Tuk, Lo'ak, and Kiri, who'd come home from being with their Grandmother. I didn't, rather choosing to sit on my bedroll, on the other side of the tent, putting my ear to the tent to hear what was happening.
"It's a fire-" I heard one of the male Na'vi scouts pants, "-it is spreading, in every direction, rapidly!"
"What is it coming from?" I heard Jake ask, a female scout now speaking up.
"It's...a Sky People ship." She hissed, a venomous tone to her voice.
"How far out?" Neytiri asked with a panicked tone to her voice.
"About 15 miles, and getting closer, quickly." The male scout spoke up.
"We need to evacuate, get everyone up to the camp in the Hallelujah mountains-" I felt some fear creep into me at this; the feared Sky People are back? And we are leaving our home? "-hurry!"
I then heard the footsteps of Jake and Neytiri coming back, them immediately coming into the tent with worried looks, though they remained strong.
"We need to go, kids, pack up." Neytiri instructed, rushing to pack up a few things, "Take only the essentials."
"But why?" Tuk asked though Jake shook his head.
"We will explain later, pack lightly, and be ready to go in five minutes!" He ordered, then looked to me, "Once they're done, don't wait on your mother and me; get them to the Hallelujah Mountains as fast as you can fly."
At that, I felt all fear in me dissipate, confidence and the urge to protect the others flooding my senses, "Yes, sir." With that, he rushed out with Neytiri, going to help the other Na'vi.
