The forests of Pandora hold many dangers. But the most dangerous thing about Pandora, is that you may grow to love her too much.
We sing the chords to remember. Each bead, a story in our life.
Two beads for the birth of our son and daughter. The Na'vi have never had twins, but the humans did and I had the gene. The clan took it as a sign from the Great Mother.

"Neteyam!" Jake exclaimed, holding his son and daughter up, their tails entwined, "Niae!"

"Neteyam! Niae!" The clan repeated back, as Neytiri touched her hands to her lips in awe of the two tiny lives she gave birth to.

A bead when we adopted our daughter, Kiri. Born of Grace's avatar. A daughter whose conception was a total mystery.

Jake and Neytiri sit together, eating as they each held their children, a child in each arm.

A bead for the first communion with Eywa.

Around the tree, the Na'vi sit, singing, their tswin attached to the roots of the tree. As Jake connects the twins and Kiri's tswin to the tree, their eyes brighten as gummy smiles fill their faces, Neteyam letting out a bright cooing noise.

The People say we live in Eywa and Eywa lives in us. The Great Mother holds all her children in her heart.

Happiness is simple.

The Great Mother has blessed me-us. In Neteyam, I saw Tom. In Niae I saw a bit of Neytiri, a bit of me. We knew she was special from the day of her birth. She wasn't born with the dark hair I was so used to seeing, no. She was born with hair so blonde it was almost white, and eyelashes just the same. And she had gotten my human eyes-a blue so blue, you thought it was the ocean. She always seemed more mature than the others. So quiet, like she had a million thoughts on her mind and everyone else was just too incompetent to see it.

Happiness is simple. Who would have thought a jarhead like me could break the code?

Jake grunted as he threw water at Kiri and Neteyam. They giggled as they ran away, Niae clinging to her mother as she held an infant Lo'ak in her arms.

Before I knew it we had five.

The family of five laid on a hammock, curled together-Neytiri telling them the story about how she and Jake met as the kids giggled and laughed.

When we sent the Sky People back to Earth, a few of them stayed. The science guys, loyal to the Na'vi. And then, there was Spider...he was just stuck here.

A baby runs through the lab, wildly, only to be called and pulled into someone's arms.

Too young for a cryo capsule. Orphaned by the war, he was raised by the lab guys.

"Spider, take your spare!" Norm yelled, holding the oxygen tank out of the door.
"I'm just going to the village!" He called back as he raced into the forest.

He wasn't part of our family. He was like a stray cat. Just always around.

Kiri, Neteyam and Lo'ak play with Spider as Niae watched from Neytiri's side, too nervous to be playing with the human child.

He was inseparable from our kids...except for Niae. To Neytiri he will always be alien, one of them. Niae was more timid around him, even more quiet than she usually was. She never could accept Spider's presence among us.

"He belongs with his own race." Neytiri said to Jake, before pulling Niae with her, " come Nia, let us speak to Tsahik."

Kiri and Lo'ak fight over a toy as Jake watches from his seat nearby. They pull the toy back and forth as Neteyam and Niae sit nearby, making their bows. Well, Neteyam was making a bow, Niae on the other hand was quite content to busy herself with a flower chain that she delicately weaved around her bow.

It took a few years to get the language through my thick skull. But now when I hear it, might as well be English.

" I hate you!" Lo'ak screamed as he pulled at the toy that Kiri clutched in her hands.
" Well I hate you times infinity, Lo'ak!" Kiri yelled back, yanking the toy in her direction, "Penis Face!" Making Lo'ak scream back at her.
"Hey! Hey!" Jake scolded from where he was seated, finally tired of the screaming match, " That's enough! Don't make me come over there."
Neteyam and Niae looked at each other and giggled.

Later on Jake was teaching the twins how to use their bows. Well, Neteyam at least. Niae kept getting distracted by the plant life around them. Jake whispered to Neteyam, adjusting his stance slightly.

"Go get it!" Jake exclaimed, "Yeah!"
Neytiri smiled at them both as Niae turned to see what the commotion was about. Neteyam smiled widely as he eagerly ran to grab the arrow with his kill.
"What'd you get Netey?" Niae asked curiously, peeking under Jake's arm to see what he caught.
"Eh, Neteyam the mighty fisherman." Jake smiled in encouragement. Neteyam held the fish and laughed as it wiggled around on the arrow head.
"Good boy," Jake said, " woah, it's a big one." He crouched between the two as the fish finally stopped moving.
"By the rocks," Neteyam explained as they took the fish from the arrow, "right where you said."

Later on, Jake was measuring the kids.

"How tall is he?" Lo'ak asked, curiously. Niae giggled as their father responded, " too tall."

Time goes by too fast, like a dream.

The Sully's are rounded up for a family picture, the four oldest now teens and Tuk a child. Jake wriggles the camera a bit more before walking over to get into the photo.

Kiri rolls her eyes, annoyed, only to be grabbed and scolded by Neytiri. Niae smiles gently from between Lo'ak and Neteyam, her tail entwined with her twin's.

Happiness is simple...like date night. Time away from the kids.

Jake and Neytiri whoop and holler as they ride their Ikran, enjoying their time together. Afterwards they lay together under the stars and among Pandora's plant life.

But the thing about happiness...it can vanish in a heartbeat.

A bright light could be seen in the distance, Jake and Neytiri sitting up worriedly to watch it in dread.

A new star in the night...it can only mean one thing. The ships, decelerating. The Sky People returning.

The ships burned everything on its way. The forest, the People's home, was being destroyed again. Neytiri and Jake watching in horror as it all burned down.
