Chapter 6

Y/n pov
The rustle of the pink pebbles beneath my feet is soothing. They fly up with every shuffle I take. Walking in Ten No Heigen is pure serenity. The sky was clear and filled with the shining northern lights, it felt like I was home in a way.

When I stop walking around the peddles and crunching ceases and all I can hear is nature. The clear clean stream rolls over the rocks, comforting me. On the banks of the stream is the lush vegetation that brushes me with a faint sense of welcome as I walk by.
I hear the flutter of hummingbirds flying about drinking the nectar of flowers and the failure noise of the majestic environment around me. There are not too many harmful creatures here, and for that I am grateful. Right now it is just me under the influence of Ten No Heinen. Here there is nothing to be concerned about, but instead, a place where I can feel free.

Looking around, I take a mental snapshot of this tiny section of Ten No Heinen. But I do not save the memory in my mind; I save it to my heart. As I glance around the cherry blossom trees softly blowing in the wind, the colorful night sky filled with northern light, and the clean clear pond, I undergo a sense of smallness. The ground felt like I was inside a cozy soft cloud, I closed my eyes and began to drift off to sleep.

As I opened my eyes the sound of knocking could be heard from the window near my bed and at my window was Chizu and boy she looked hella annoyed, I slid out of bed and hurriedly opened the window for her "okay Usagi sent me to tell you he cannot go to the arcade with you today due to an....moody physical problem" she explained rubbing her baggy yellow eyes "wait is he okay? It's not a life-threatening bad physical problem is it?" my ears flatten slightly panicking about the situation although I don't know what type of situation it is it sounds really bad "no no he's not dying" my ears perked up at the word dying and THAT is not what I said and that led me into a small maybe big panic. I breathed in and left the room walking to the kitchen "wait where are you going?" chizu followed close behind me "grabbing a few snacks" I opened a hidden cabinet behind a box of lord kaganes favorite cookies and took out eight boxes of my personal snacks "why do you need eight boxes?" I bent down opened another cabinet and took out more snacks,
I rushed back to my room packed the snacks in my bag, and stuffed a comfy warm blanket heater in my bag with the snacks "well if it's a moody physical problem the best solution is snacks and a fat comfort blanket to cry your days away"

I jumped down the window landing on a tree branch "that was oddly specific a-and seriously once you see him you're not gonna hear the end of it" she hopped out the window with a slight grunt before landing "so are you sure you want this?" she questioned raising a brow. I've never helped or experienced moody physical problems from others but myself, so I'm willing to try at least for him "yes I am. I've been through worse, one time I broke my arm eight times in one day, and snapped it back to its place so yeah I'll be fine" true and cool story but chizu didn't seem so happy about it but instead had a slightly scared look "what im fine kinda took me a month or more for it to heal" she sighed glancing back at me for a moment

"Okay fine" she gave in and lead me to gen's home and yeah for the time being I occasionally stopped by another food joint to purchase food in cases I would stay longer than I should. As we walked in I could hear slight sobbing coming from down the hall "he's been crying for three hours" gen groaned covering his small ears with his hands "(y/n) make him stop I beg of you, MY EARS ARE GONNA EXPLODE" kitsune whined latching onto my leg, I lightly pushed her off and followed the sobbing sounds, I stopped to a door that had a sign saying do not enter. 'well theirs no turning back I was hesitant but I knocked anyway, the sounds of crying went down to sniffles "Go away" Usagi yelled from the other side "it's me (y/n). I came to help with your....moody problems chizu calls it" the sounds of shuffling and thumping could be heard "im coming in" I quickly slid open the door to see bunches of brown and white fur scattered on the ground and in the corner was im guessing Usagi under the covers. I inhaled and walked over to him "hey, are you okay? And what's with all the fur?" I skimmed the fur off and sat next to him.
