Manasa quickened her pace.

Urvi jogged to catch up with her.
"Can you slow down a bit?"

Manasa wanted to snap at her but kept walking. Urvi finally caught her by the arm and shook her lightly.
"What's the matter with you?"

Manasa slapped Urvi's hand away. "That shouldn't have happened!" She snapped. "We're causing disruptions!"

Urvi rolled her eyes. She gazed at the wizardess and smirked.

Manasa's eyes reddened and she balled her fists. Urvi could be infuriatingly difficult sometimes.

Urvi then swatted at the air nonchalantly and scoffed. "So they got worried because of some blasts, what's the big deal?"

Before Manasa could drive a bit of sense into her, she jerked her head to the left - Samira and Shruti walked towards them, and halted a few feet away.

"Manasa, Urvi."

"Di?" Manasa couldn't hide the surprise from in her voice. "What are you doing here?"

"What was going on here? Shruti told me you two were around... together." Samira said. "I had my doubts."

Urvi rolled her eyes, making Manasa frown.

Doesn't she get tired of that?

"We didn't do anything." Urvi droned.

Manasa narrowed her eyes. "Didn't do anything?" She hissed. "We caused explosions and Prabhu Shri Ram had to come check! Along with his brothers and Hanuman! Don't you understand that we have inconvenienced Prabhu?"

Shruti inhaled sharply. Samira stepped closer, frowning. "What exactly happened?" She asked urgently.

Urvi and Manasa explained all that had happened and Samira seemed unperturbed at the end of it. "You haven't caused anyone harm, so it's alright." She almost seemed to be hiding her smile. "Those blasts are expected when you both battle, nothing to worry about."

Everyone broke into smiles at that.

Shruti tilted her head at Manasa. "Where is your book?"

Manasa without a book wasn't a sight just anyone could get used to.

Manasa fished her miniature book out, and tapped it with her wand - the book grew to its original size. She liked how familiar it felt in her clutch.

"You're still reading that?" Urvi said. "You've been reading that since we got here. Please, I'm tired of seeing that same red cover."

"Don't like red anymore?" Manasa retorted.

Shruti giggled and Urvi shot a glare at her.

"Next time there are any explosions," Samira began, "keep them away from here. Humans don't take blasts or booming noises very well."

The other three girls nodded.

"What were you saying?"

The girls whirled around to face a hard-eyed Kaikeyi. Manasa mentally braced herself.

How long has she been standing here?

Samira politely joined her palms. "Greetings, queen Kaikeyi."

The rest unwillingly followed suit.

"I heard what you said." Kaikeyi hissed. "What was that about explosions and blasts? What are you all up to?"

"I only told them to avoid blasts and explosions, for humans do not like those." Samira explained.

Staying placid in the face of a pointed finger was a feat few could boast of.
