The ninja fix up the city and train Lloyd to face his father one day. The Ninja then decide to get jobs to get rent for a place to train Lloyd causing them to have busy lives.
Lord Garmadon uses the four Golden Weapons to recreate the Destiny's Bounty (After the Great Devourer snapped it in two) into the Black Bounty for his own transportation.
Garmadon shows off his powers, getting the Serpentine to abandon their generals in favor of him.
So in retaliation tries to kidnap Lloyd as revenge but fails and is arrested.
Garmadon takes the Weapons to the Golden Peaks, and forges them into the Mega Weapon.
After testing its powers Lord Garmadon accidentally uses his Mega Weapon to resurrect Captain Soto and his crew of pirates, but Soto takes advantage of his exhaustion and reassumes command of his ship, before attacking Ninjago City. (No I do not know how this worked since Garmadon is supposed to be powerful as heck)
The ninja meet Dareth and train at his dojo, as The living space isn't enough to train Lloyd, they argue for a bit as Ninjago doesn't really have that much respect for the ninja after Garmadon took the win, and after beating him in a matter of strength, they were allowed to train in the dojo.
After Soto shows up and attacks Ninjago City,the ninja realized that Lloyd gained the True Power of the First Spinjitsu Master and as he learned Energy, Lloyd went to help with Captain Soto.
Lloyd learns Spinjitzu but is too young to use it on enemies.
Soto wins but is defeated by Nya in her Samurai Mech.
Soto and the pirates are captured, and Garmadon resumes command of the Black Bounty and escapes.
After the first failure and finding out the power of the Mega Weapon Lord Garmadon uses the Mega Weapon to create evil versions of the ninja.
Meanwhile The ninja and Lloyd are invited to Darkley's to celebrate their reforms, only for the students to reveal it as a trap and attempt to lure Lloyd back into the side of evil.
The evil ninja track their counterparts to Darkley's, forcing the students and ninja to team up together to defeat them, and Lloyd unlocks his control over Lightning. (Aka Lloyd always somehow had natural leader skills)
Garmadon uses Darnagom Enterprises to threaten Dareth's dojo into ruin, which in turn, would cause Lloyd to slow his training. (Ok Garmadon do you have cash?! How the frick were you able to make a fake company? Much less pay someone for a billboard.)
The ninja join the Ninjaball Run and annual race in Ninjago City to save Dareth's dojo. The race gets intense when Skales escapes the prison, but with the help of Ed and Edna, who were in the race for fun, the ninja win the race, getting back their ship, and Skales rescues Garmadon from the police.
After a bit Lord Garmadon uses the Mega Weapon to try and resurrect an old being but accidentally turn the ninja into children, and awakens the remains of an extinct Grundle.
After battling the Grundal (apparently no one knows how it is spelt) In the process of turning the ninja older (and killing the Grundal), Lloyd becomes a teenager. Rufus McAllister offers Lloyd the latest edition of Starfarer, but Lloyd refuses, saying that he already knew how the ending went. This causes Lloyd to not only grow older than 10 (Yeah can you believe it? A 10 year old nearly caused the a civil war between snakes, and world domination, not only that but he's the leader?) but even act older than 10 learning more information only people his current age would know, such as higher learning in math or basic biology and history, not only that, he even speaks like he aged.
But in an act of desperation (And a rather unusually normal reaction from Garmadon seeing his son had grown in a matter of days...like seriously can you not tell time or is this an Oni/Dragon thing that happens normally? I'm starting to think that Oni and Dragon just age slower then suddenly they get a growth spurt all of sudden) Garmadon doesn't want Lloyd to become the Green Ninja, so he calls on his Mega Weapon to change the past and enter a portal. The original 4 ninja and Wu follow, but Wu tells Lloyd that he is too valuable to risk. They all try to stop Garmadon from changing the future to his own desires, destroying the Mega Weapon and sending it to space in the process.
-Kai,Cole, Jay, Zane, Nya,Garmadon, Wu and the Serpentine remember the Mega Weapon, while Lloyd does not.
