Timeline: Season 1: Rise of the Snakes

After being kicked out of Darkley's, Lloyd makes his journey to Jamanakai Village to try and live up his title as 'The Son of Lord Garmadon', The Ninja, after playing a lengthy battle of video games are called upon as they mistaken Lloyd for Lord Garmadon, once finding the false alarm, they suppress him by acting childish themselves as everything reverts back to normal.

The Ninja then discover the 'Prophecy of the Green Ninja' which would tell the tale of a Ninja rising from above the Four Others and become the Chosen One of Destiny, causing a competition to be held by all four on who would become the Green Ninja.

Lloyd after being humiliated back at the village, flees towards somewhere far and snowy, he stumbles upon an old tomb and enters it...unbeknownst to him that he just released one of Ninjagos greatest enemies, The Serpentine, upon arrival, he accidentally tricks the Hypnobrai's leader, Slithraa, into hypnotizing himself, causing him to be in command of the Hypnobrai tribe, Lloyd returns with them and hypnotizes the whole town, just for the sake of stealing candy. The ninja arrive just in time, stealing the leader's staff and gaining the antidote for the hypnotism, however before they leave, Skales manages to hypnotize Cole.

During their training to becoming the Green Ninja, the Ninja remark on Zane's peculiar personality, before the Mailman comes, they find out about his origin as an orphan with Wu possibly suspecting his father had soon passed,

This peculiar sense of personality continued until night when Zane wear pink at dinner and is unamused of a food-fight, after cleaning up, he spots a Falcon, unknowingly meeting an old friend of his again, after dancing with it, he follows it to find Lloyd's hidden treehouse, he goes back to inform the ninja about it and they form a plan to destroy it, just before they finish destroying it, Skales commands Cole to fight the ninja, Master Wu arrives to help and Cole is cured from the hypnosis using the flute. The group hurry back to the Monastery only to find it had been burned down. The three blame Zane for the destruction of the Monastery, Wu scolds them and when they turn to apologize Zane had already gone...

Meanwhile, Slithraa and Skales fight for the place of leader of the Hypnobrai as Lloyd steals the map of the tombs (Why was it even in a Serpentine tomb?!) after a while, Slithraa lost and Skales put as leader and banishes Lloyd from the tribe.

Meanwhile the Ninja make the best of their situation while feeling guilty about what had happened, Nya spots Zane by the distance, he had explained that the Falcon had showed up again and he had been inclined to follow it, he shows the Ninja where the Falcon had led them and they spot the Destiny's Bounty lying around the Sea of Sand.

The next day after some spring cleaning, the ninja meet Ed and Edna, Jay's parents, after giving them a tour, Jay owes them a visit in a while, (Best Parents might I add, like they're so supportive, they love their son, and dawww Libber your son is in good hands!) as they try to use their dragons, however the dragons begin to reach a stage of metamorphosis leaving the ninja without transportation for a while...

While Ed and Edna had returned the night before, they were attacked by the Fangpyre for metal, Jay, when he arrives, takes notes on how quiet the area is...knowing how noisy his parents are considering they work in a junkyard, they find out that they've been injected by the venom and that Lloyd has taken over the junkyard. Using the Golden Weapons and transforming them into vehicles the ninja were able to get the Fangpyre Staff and create and antidote for Jay's parents. After a while, the Fangpyre chase after them and with the help of Ed, the ninja were able to use Jay's flying function to escape with the Destiny's Bounty.

After a while, Lloyd begins to enact war within the Serpentine tribes (Ok, I know Lloyd isn't really...*That* evil, but come on, how did this guy nearly cause a war with the tribes and possibly the End of the World?) however, that plan backfires as the leader of the Fangpyres and Skales were once close friends, when discussing an alliance they heavily remark on how the Anacondrai were to be excluded from the alliance which sparks an idea from Lloyd.
