Acronix returns after 40 years of being lost in Time to take his revenge on Wu for putting him there. Meanwhile The ninja work together to clean up the Museum after the events of Day of the Departed and learn of the Battle for All of Time from Dr. Saunders [Krux]
The ninja complete the clean up at 6pm. Wu defeats Acronix. The Forward Time Blade arrives at 6pm.
A wave of temporal energy spreads through Ninjago, sending everyone one minute into the future.
Acronix retrieves the Time Blade and re-engages the battle with Wu, this time, with an advantage at 6:01 pm. Acronix accelerates Wu's aging.
Acronix manages to cause Wu to fall from the side of the cliff, barely holding onto a branch. The ninja arrive at the Monastery on Destiny's Bounty.
Jay engages in battle with Acronix, but is easily defeated. Kai, Lloyd, Cole and Jay begin to fight Acronix while Nya and Zane put out a fire started by Kai. Eventually, the ninja are all defeated with ease.
Cole saves Wu from falling from the cliff.
Acronix reunites with Dr. Saunders who reveals his identity of Krux as they embrace and plot their revenge.
Wu informs the ninja about the Time Twins.
Acronix learns of the wonders of modern civilisation.
Krux learns that keeping Acronix focused on the mission rather than technology would be difficult.
The BorgWatch is finally revealed but the Borg Store is attacked. The ninja receive an alert that a Borg Store is under attack from a new threat.
The ninja race to the Borg Store to decide who gets to fight the new threat. Zane randomly selects who gets to fight the new threat. Kai ventures into the Borg Store alone to fight the new threat. Kai is easily defeated. Zane ventures into the Borg Store alone to fight the new threat. Zane is easily defeated. The new threat is revealed to be a warrior comprised of snakes.
Zane protects Cyrus Borg. The other ninja attempt to and learn how to defeat a Vermillion Warrior. Zane is decommissioned by Krux masquerading as Dr. Saunders. Borg is kidnapped by Krux.
Borg is forced to make a weapon for the Time Twins.
Nya attempts to repair Zane with Cole and Jay assisting. Meanwhile Kai travels to the History Museum to learn more about a Vermillion helmet.
Lloyd remains at the Temple of Airjitzu to look after Wu.
Various people and metal are stolen by the Vermillion to use for building armor and weapons. Kai investigates his parents' disappearance and discovers Dr. Saunders, who he finds out is Krux, was behind it. Krux tells Kai that his parents were a pair of traitors who aided him and his brother in many ways. Kai begins to become fully focused on discovering the truth behind Krux's story.
Vermillion Warriors begin to steal metal all over Ninjago. The ninja split up, with Kai, Jay and Cole going to Ninjago City to fight the Vermillion Warriors stealing metal, Nya and Zane remaining at the Samurai X Cave to repair Zane, and Lloyd remaining at the Temple of Airjitzu to watch over an aging and weakening Wu. Zane is able to partially reboot.
"Operation: Blackout", an operation that would turn off the power all over Ninjago, is initiated by Commander Machia.
All of the ninja meet up at the Power Station and fight off the Vermillion Warriors, subsequently restoring power to Ninjago City. Zane fully reboots.
The ninja, minus Jay, head to Mega Monster Amusement Park, as Vermillion Warriors are attacking it.
Kai begins to become obsessed with finding out what Krux meant when he said that Kai's parents were traitors.
The ninja barely manage to defend the Amusement Park whilst Jay attempts to defend his parents' home.
The Slow-Mo Time Blade arrives in the Sea of Sand.
The Vermillion Warriors capture Edna and travel to the Time Blade. Jay and Ed build the Lightning Bike.
