No one's POV
It has been a few weeks since the supposed final battle and the awakening of the Star Entity, along with the discovery of Papa's true identity, a space alien species known as VIRM. Nhazul alongside the Klaxosaur princess, Code 001, were able to drive back the VIRM forces. But, once the battle was over, Code 001 was left in a comatose state, upon being found by Nhazul in a escape pod. Along with this, the Klaxosaurs and Star Entity, who had no pilot all launched into space to battle VIRM, leaving Squad 13 along the surviving Parasites to start a new life, within the Bird's Nest, even with being thrown into a harsh environment. Currently, Nhazul is in the room of the Klaxosaur princess, or Zero One, as he's referring her as, sitting in he's chair thinking about everything that's happened up until this point. That's when he had noticed that Zero One was bleeding, shocking him.
Nhazul: Huh?! How...?
Nhazul grabbed bandages and warped up her arm, as Zero Two walked in.
Zero Two: Big brother, it's time for the meeting.
Nhazul looked at Zero Two and sighed.
Nhazul: R-Right...
Zero Two could already tell something was wrong.
Zero Two: Are you okay?
Nhazul: Yeah...I'm fine, Zero Two. Let's just go...
As Nhazul walked out the room, Zero Two looked at him surprised. As she caught up to him, the two both made it to the meeting with the rest of Squad 13. As they went over things that needed to be done.
Ikuno: Can't we increase the portions a little?
Ichigo: No can do. We only have food reserves for around one more year.
Miku: But the veggies are growing fine.
Zorome: Yeah, yeah. We'll be able to harvest them in a couple of months. Right Kokoro?
Miku: We're lucky that Kokoro knows so much about plants.
Kokoro: Oh, no. I don't really know anything about harvesting.
Ichigo: Right. So we should maintain the status quo until we have a firm estimate for harvest.
Goro: Hiro, Mitsuru, how's the energy system looking?
Hiro: We still haven't serviced the unit that's been acting up lately.
Mitsuru: Output's gone down as well.
Goro: Hmm. Futoshi, how's the water purification system looking?
Futoshi: It's efficiency has dropped, too. But..Should we really keep using magma energy? It originally belonged to the Klaxosaurs, right?
Zorome: Well, what else can we do? How else are we gonna live?
Miku: It's used in food preservation and for treating wounds, too, you know.
Futoshi: I know..but..
Suddenly, Kokoro got up holding her stomach and mouth, feeling sick.
Kokoro: Sorry...I need lie down.
Mitsuru: Are you okay?
Kokoro: I'm fine.
Kokoro walked out the room, as Ichigo looked over and saw Nhazul lost in thought.
Ichigo: How do you feel, Nhazul?
Nhzual: Huh...?
Goro: About magma energy.
Nhazul: Oh...
Ichigo: Anyway, we've got to survive any way can. Let's figure out something we need for that.
