Chapter 19 Wedding Raid

No one's POV

Currently, both Nhazul and Ichigo were in the control room speaking with Hachi, as they were informed of what they would be doing.

Hachi: We will abandon Mistilteinn shortly. Be ready to leave at any time.

Ichigo: Abandon it? So suddenly?

Hachi: The situation has changed. When the next supply ship arrives, we will take it to the Parasite Camp.

Ichigo: Parasite Camp? You mean all the Parasites are gathered in one place?

Hachi: Correct.

Nhazul just narrowed his eyes.

Nhazul's thoughts: They ignore us for so long and now all of a sudden they're coming to get us. What's their game...?

Nhazul and Ichigo both glanced over and noticed the video screens of the different rooms in the bordering house.

Nhazul's thoughts: So they were watching us this whole time...

After finishing their talk with Hachi, Nhazul and Ichigo walked out to meet up with Hiro and Goro. As they walked out, they noticed their annoyed looks.

Goro: Nhazul? Ichigo? What's wrong?

The four of them made their way to the elevators and on the way up, they told Goro and Hiro everything.

Hiro: Abandon, huh?

Ichigo: Can't we stay here somehow?

Nhazul: We only have rations for a few more days at best.

Goro: Besides, Mistilteinn won't last very long itself. Looking back, our life here wasn't all that bad.

Ichigo: But we can't stay here anymore. That's kinda sad.

Nhazul looked over out the window and saw ruined city, as Hiro spoke up.

Hiro: Hey...There's something I'd like us to do while we're still here.

The three of them looked at Hiro confused to what he meant. Once they got back to the house, Hiro gathered everyone in the living room and told them what he wanted to do.

Everyone: A wedding?

Miku: What's that?

Hiro: It's a ceremony where two humans of old would make a vow to be true to each other in sickness and in health, and never part until death. That's what it means to marry, or so this book said.

Delta: And who exactly is gonna get married at this wedding?

Hiro: Kokoro and Mitsuru.

Everyone looked at the two of them surprised.

Kokoro: Hiro told us about it, and we thought it sounded wonderful.

Mitsuru: We decided to do it before leaving this place.

Goro: You've got some nerve to try this after how much trouble you got in.

Miku: That sounds so romantic! You have my full support!

Zorome: I don't get it, but it's a good way to make one last memory here...

Everyone then looked at Futoshi who hadn't said anything.

Kokoro: Futoshi, listen, I...

Futoshi didn't say anything and pointed at the person in the picture who was marrying the couple within the book.

Futoshi: I'm taking this role! I don't care what you guys say! I'm doing it! I... I want to be right beside Kokoro and Mitsuru and congratulate them!

Kokoro: Thank you, Futoshi.
