"Why am I here" Elvira muttered out loud as, Wednesday, Sheriff Galpin and Principal Weems and herself all walked to Weems' office the next morning after the fair "How could you miss a dead body" Wednesday asked the Sheriff "Cause it wasn't there" He answers "No foot prints no blood no sign of a struggle nothing nada" He states looking at her
"My search party looked all night" He tells her "Well your search party must have left their seeing eye dogs at home" Wednesday berates as they walked up some stairs "I saw that monster kill Rowan right infront of me" Wednesday tells him "Did you get a good look at this monster thing" The Sheriff asks "It didn't stick around for a chat" Wednesday blanks
"Maybe it was one of your classmates" The Sheriff suggests "Sheriff I find that statement offensive" Weems stats turning to look at him "Well I don't care cause I got three other dead bodies in the morgue" Galpin said rasing his voice slightly "Hikers just ripped apart in the woods" He tells them "Huh intresting" Elvira hums getting a werid look from the Sheriff "The mayor said those were bear attacks" Weems relays
"Yea well the mayor and I disagree on that" The Sheriff points out "So you automatically assume a Nevermore student is the murder even though there was no evidence a crime was even commited" She asks glaring at him
Elvira heard her heartbeat skip but dismissed it for now "I'm sorry I forgot you only teach the good outcasts here right" The Sheriff asks sarcastically Weems sighed before they continued their walk to her office, walking into her office Weems spoke "My guess is Rowan ran away, state troopers have put out an alert and I've contacted his family but they havent heard from him either" Weems informs them sitting down
Elvira smiles to herself "Dead people are notoriously bad at returning calls" Wednesday tells them getting a condescending smile from Weems and a tiny giggle from Elvira cause it was true they were bad at returning calls "What were you doing out into he woods with him Ms.Addams" Galpin asks sitting down briefly looking at Elvira making her raise a brow "I heard a noise in the forest and went to go investigate that's when I stumbled upon the attack" Wednesday recalls lying "Then what happened" Galpin asked
"I ran into Bianca Barclay and I told her to go for help next thing I know I was awaking in my dorm" She tells him, Elvira thought Bianca probably siren songed Wednesday asleep and took her to the dorm or told Weems and Weems made Bianca siren song Wednesday then took her to the dorm "And just to be clear this monster wasn't a bear or some other wild animal" Galpin asks for reassurment
"I hibernate with grizzles" Wednesday explains to him "I know the difference" She finished "Thank you Sheriff, I think Miss Addams is done now" Weems suggested passive aggressively "Actually I would like to speak with Sheriff Galpin, Alone" Wednesday states "I'm not sure I can allow that" Weems tells her
"Well I'm I could take her down to the station and get a formal statement" Glapin says as a thinnliy veiled threat with a quick small sarcastic smile at Weems as they starred each other down when no one moved he spoke "Yea let's go" He stood up "Fine" Weems gritted out "You have five minutes and everything is off the record" Weems states "Play nice or I will call the mayor" She threatens Galpin before walking out
