"All students will report for their volunteer jobs at 10:00 am sharp, followed by a community lunch at 1:00" Weems announced, Elvira groaned causing The twins, Yoko and Ajax to laugh, after multiple apologies from them and Elvira telling them she wasn't angry just tired they all went back to the way they whereas it was slightly awkward the next few days after she was 'kidnapped'
"As you know this year's Outreach Day culminates in a very special event, the dedication of a new memorial statue in the town square which will also include performances by Nevermore students" Weems continued
Divina and Elvira bumped shoulders with a smile as Elvira was supposed to be dancing with Ajax "Excited" Elvira heard Kent ask "Yea it's gonna be so fun" She heard Ajax respond "As representatives of our school I trust you will all put your best face forward" Weems finished "Yes" "Yeah" the kids murmured as they moved around to talk to their friends "Thanks" The group said as Coach gave them their assignments
"What'd you get" Divina questioned looking over Elvira's shoulder, she tilted it so Divina could see it better "Pilgrim World what about you" She asked looking at the short haired girls "Nice same thing" Elvira nodded "How bout you Yoko" Elvira asks "Same as you guys" Yoko smiled "Aw man I got Uriahs Heap" Ajax whined slightly "Aw poor baby" Elvira said patting his cheek with a mocking pout
The group laughed "I got carnival clean up" Kent piped up once they settled down "Nice" Elvira high fives him before all the students get loaded on the bus towards town
"Jax stop it" Elvira mutters slapping his hand away from her paper as he kept blocking it "Please Angel" He begs "No Ajax" She tells him looking at him briefly before looking back at her paper her hand gliding across the page as she sketched before Ajax's hand blocked it again
With a slightly annoyed sigh Elvira shut her sketchbook and put it in her bag before looking towards the boy that unknowingly held her heart, reaching up she squished his cheeks together and narrowed her eyes playfully "You have my attention now Ajax is that what you wanted" She asks him still squishing his cheeks
"Ery uck o" He tried to get out making her laugh "Very much so huh" She asks making him nod before she pulled her hands away from his face and grasped the one that laid in his lap making him smile as he watched her play with his fingers
"Yo come on" Kent called jumping out of the bus with Divina behind him and Yoko a few paces behind her "Come on Jax" Elvira laughed softly grabbing his hands after seeing him look around confused and quickly catching up to the twins before following them at a slower pacer "What the hell is Crackstone doing in that picture with you" Elvira hears making her turn her head to see Xavier and Wednesday speaking
"You know who that is" Wednesday asks "Yea it's Joesph Crackstone he's like Jericho's founding father, he's kind of a big deal around here yeah look" She watches as Xavier points to two works rolling down a sign with a pilgrim on it
