The Black cats were about to puncture the Goldenbugs' boat when an unseen force slowly starts pushing them away "Guess Kent got out" Elvira states lowly as the others try and steer away from the buoy they are now heading towards
Elvira watches as Thing jumps into the water and after a few seconds the force stops, rowing faster the group soon rows next to the other one shortly after that they puncture Bianca's boat effectively making them sink as Bianca lifts her legs to avoid the spears
She looks at Wednesday shocked before the black cats row ahead officially winning the Poe Cup "The first Poe Cup took place in 1897 as a way to not only honor Nevermore's most famous alumni, but to celebrate those values that all outcasts share" Weems states as herself and the black cats stand in front of the quad
"Community, perseverance, and determination and we certainly saw those values on display today" She said and then picked up the big sliver trophy and handed it over to Enid who cheered making the whole quad cheer "Congratulations to Ophelia Hall" Weems shouts happily
Elvira and Wednesday walk away and inside wanting to get away from all the noise sitting side by side on the Edgar Alan Poe statue Elvira speaks "Your contraptions were cool Wednesday" She complements "Thank you, I found your magic display fascinating" Wednesday responds before looking up making Elvira do the same both seeing the drawing Wednesday showed Elvira on Edgar Alan Poes book "Isn't that the Nightshade symbol" Elvira mutters getting a nod in return
"What are you doing down here" The girls hear making them look forward to see Enid walking towards them "Hiding people keep smiling at me it's unsettling" Wednesday states as they stand up "There's too much noise" Elvira mutters crossing her arms "Its called having your moment you took down Bianca Barclay another peg try to enjoy it" Enid states before looking at Elvira "Are you ok" She asks getting a nod in return
"The girls wanna know if you wanna hang out later" Enid asks Wednesday "Oh come on it won't kill you" Enid states, Wednesday looked at Enid and Elvira could hear her heart speed up a little before she sighs "I'll think about it" Wednesday relents "Oh Ajax was looking for you I think he's with the twins" Enid tells Elvira before skipping away
"It is good to see you fitting in just like your mother" Weems states looking at Wednesday with a smile "My mother and I are two different people/species/ everything" Wednesday tells her Elvira took that moment to slip away going to find Ajax and the twins, following their scent Elvira arrived in front of their dorm knocking there was a brisk 'come in', walking in she was greeted with the sight of Divina treating Kent's black eye
"Woah how'd you get that" She asks she suspected Thing had something to do with it "This Hand jumped from your boat and punched me in the face" He muttered bitterly "That was Thing he belongs to Wednesday" Elvira informs "Where's Jax" She asks "In the bathroom" Divina answers tilting her head towards the bathroom
Walking towards the bathroom Elvira leans against the door and watches Ajax struggle to take his joker makeup off "Need some help" She asks "Angel" He beamed making her smile "Yes please this stupid shit won't come off" He states rubbing his skin roughly "Ok stop before you irritate your skin" She grabs his hand and pulls it away from his face
