Y/N POV

The helicopter ride back to base was silent. Nobody said a word.

As soon as you got into Prices base you walked into your room slamming the door.
You grabbed the burner phone and started texting Shepherd.
"You fucking said Graves wouldn't be on this mission, that I wouldn't see him or hear him at all." You sent the message.
He responded immediately.
"He insisted on being a part of this mission Frostbite. Put your personal issues aside for now."

Is he fucking joking? Personal issues? He knows exactly what happened, hell he's the one who stopped you from slitting Graves throat.

You put the phone back into your bag. You decided to take a shower and go to sleep after. It was already midnight.

You walked into the bathroom that was in your room.
You turned on the water. Nothing came out.

"Oh just fucking great. This has been the best day ever."

You walked out of you room to find Price.
He was in his room.

You knocked loudly. He opened the door.

"The water won't work in my bathroom." You told him.
He sighed.

"Take a shower in the bathroom that's in your hall, I'll see what I can do about the one in your room. If you don't want to use the bathroom in your hall you could wait til morning, up to you."
You nodded and walked away.

You went into your bathroom grabbing clothes and your soaps and stuff and walked to the bathroom down the hall.

You hadn't seen Ghost since you got off the helicopter. You were surprised he wasn't asking you what happened back there. Why you were so mad when Graves started helping.

You saw that there was mens body wash and stuff in here. Ghost must use this bathroom too. He doesn't have one in his room like you do?

Ghost POV

I didn't push Y/N any farther on what was going on. I don't even know why I care. I didn't want to care about her.

It was late. I wanted to go to bed but I couldn't stop thinking about Y/N.

I'll go shower. Maybe that'll get my mind off of her.

I left my room and started walking up to the bathroom.

The door was open a crack and the light was on.
I walked up to it but far enough away so that the person in there couldn't see me.
Who was using this bathroom? My room and Y/N room are the only rooms down this hall other than this bathroom and she has one in her room.

I looked through the crack to see it was Y/N. I can only see the front half of her in the mirror. She was naked. She was brushing her hair out looking at herself. Could she see me?
I should look away. I should go back to my room and forget this happened. But I couldn't take my eyes off her.

I can see a scar on her lower stomach. It looked like it was a few years old but it looked so bad. I scanned the rest of body that I could see and saw a scar on her chest. Right where her heart is.

It was a faint scar but still visible. I squinted trying to make out what it was. It was a N. Just the letter N.
N? What could that stand for?

I turned away and walked back to my room. I shouldn't have been looking but she just looked so perfect. Now I was more curious. I couldn't ask her about the scars though.

Y/N POV

After you showered you left the bathroom going back to your room. You sat on the bed and started reading your book. You heard a door open in the hall. Ghost. He was awake this late too?

You didn't bother listening to where he walked.
You looked around for your hairbrush. Shit. You left it in the bathroom.

You sat your book down and got up walking up to the bathroom. The door still shut from when you left it.

You opened the door and walked in. Not before you made eye contact with Ghost. Well shirtless Ghost.
You looked at his body. Holy fuck.
He was so muscular. You knew that but you hadn't seen it without clothes. He had scars all over. His left arm had tattoos on his forearm.

"Get out." He said coldly. You looked up at his face. He didn't have the normal skull mask on. He had a balaclava with a skull on it.

"I, I left my hairbrush." You stuttered your words. What is wrong with me? Why was I nervous?

Ghost grabbed it off the counter and tossed it to you.

"I'm sorry Gho-"
He cut you off.

"Get the fuck out Y/N"
You turned around quickly going back to your room.
The sight of him shirtless still in your mind.

"Jesus christ." You took your brush and brushed your hair. You changed out of the pjs you put on just wearing a tank top and underwear.

After just sitting there on your bed staring at the wall you heard a knock at your door.

"Shit, hold on." But whoever knocked opened the door.

It was Ghost.
After he saw you having no pants on he walked in further shutting the door behind you. Well no point in putting pants on now.

"Hey look I'm sorry. I didn't know you were in there and I guess I should've knocked first." You said to him. He looked you up and down.

"Yeah you should've." He said coldly.
Oh he's gonna be a dick? Got it.

"Well who goes to take a shower and doesn't lock the fucking door?" You shouted at him.

He laughed. Why was he laughing.

"Funny you say that considering you didn't even have the door shut all the way when you were going to take one."

What? You could feel your face turn red.

"What did you see?" You asked him. Please tell me he didn't see the scars.

He shook his head and went to leave. Yep he saw them. Fuck.

"You have a beautiful body." You said to him quickly before he could fully leave your room.

He turned and looked at you.

"I can say the same to you Y/N." He said and then left.

You felt embarrassed. Embarrassed he saw your scars. You knew he would ask about them. You put your hand over your chest. Where that stupid scar is. Fucking dammit. You wanted to punch yourself. Hard. In the chest over and over.
But you didn't do that anymore.

He saw those scars. He's not going to want to be near you again. He saw that branded scar. Now he knows you belong to someone else.

"No." You whispered to yourself. You don't belong to anyone. You felt a tear roll down your face.

Good luck cracking him now. He saw your ugly scars.

You cried yourself to sleep that night.
