°•°• 𝔍aelys , still angry after the encounter with the lord hand walked to wherever her feet lead her just to calm and not lash out on the man as she had high respect for the king and her father , and she didn't want rhaenyra to see that side of her as the princess knows her for the side the taller woman shows her°•°•

°•°• so caught up in her angered thoughts she hadn't realized she bumped into someone until a small body crashed into hers , jaelys quickly caught the body before they could hit the ground°•°•

°•°• "seven hells! are you alright?" the taller girl looked down and was surprised to see the daughter of the man she planned to different ways to murder in her head just a few seconds ago , alicent clinged on the girl's arms to stabilize herself as her emerald eyes met the taller girl's silver ones°•°•

°•°• a slight blush dusted on her cheeks , jaelys was quite a unique girl as she captured both the feminine aswell as masculine features as both combined so perfectly it was almost unreal . the woman all over the realm fawned over her as the man found her so beauteous they were most definitely upset that she was born with the same part as them—and she had more preferences for woman°•°•

°•°• alicent now realizing that she was gazing at the girl cleared her throat lightly "i'm quite alright lady jaelys... apologize for bumping into you" she said sheepishly feeling nervous at the girl's intense gaze on her face and the girls hands on her waist keeping steady °•°•

°•°• jaelys smiled and alicent swore her knees went weak "no need to apologize my lady i wasn't taking in my surroundings" she let the brunette go much to alicent's disappointment°•°•

°•°• "seems like i haven't got the news of you arriving to the red keep" jaelys chuckled a bit taking in the hightower girl , the taller girl must admit alicent is a very beautiful girl with her wavy brunette hair and green eyes that reminded her of emerald gems . if jaelys eyes and heart weren't stuck on one white headed girl she would've taken the hightower girl as hers°•°•

°•°• "have you been well lady alicent" the two began walking through the garden , the day was nice as the sun beamed and air smelt of the fresh flowers that has been constantly watered in the wonderous garden°•°•

°•°• "days have been long yet pleasant and duty has been done—and it's alicent please" the brunette smiled taking a glance at the silver head
"as it is just jaelys" the taller girl returned the smile as the two strolled through the garden speaking about whatever came to mind°•°•

°•°•jaelys found the hightower girl's company quite enjoyable even if she wasn't to found of her father , she liked talking with his daughter...she was kind and her love for reading intrigued the taller girl as the brunette seem to lose herself when speaking about her passion for books . jaelys admired that°•°•

°•°• "you seem fascinated by my family's histories and the wonders of dragons...yet you refuse to even mount one if rhaenyra offers?" laughed the taller girl a little as the two were now sitting under the godswood , alicent rolled her eyes with a smile laced on her face°•°•

°•°• "and everytime she does i will refuse because i am not to keen of riding dragons" the brunette stated matter-of-factly glancing at the silver head , jaelys hummed leaning her back against the oak white tree . her silver eyes moving from the flowers to the girl beside her°•°•

°•°• "what if i offered you a ride on my dragon? surely you won't regret accepting it my lady" the taller girl smiled cheekily making the brunette giggle with a light blush coating her cheeks°•°•

°•°• "my response would stay the same i'm afraid" alicent quipped as a teasing glint passed her emerald eyes , jaelys placed her hand on her chest in mock offense "you dare refuse such a wonderous offer from royal blood—i am highly offended lady alicent" the taller woman acted with a playful look in her silver eyes°•°•

°•°• alicent laughed at her antics "i value my life dearly thank you very much" she giggled , jaleys gasped loudly "my...you assume i would endanger your life" the brunette laughed even harder as tears welled in her eyes . the taller woman chuckled liking to see the brunette laugh°•°•

°•°• as the two jested and laughed , rhaenyra searched everywhere for the velaryon girl . she asked guards posted at their respected stations as they all told her the same answer they didn't know where the taller girl disappeared to°•°•

°•°• the dragon princess huffed slightly in frustration as she passed the garden , yet rhaenyra halted in her steps upon hearing the familiar laugh that made her heart jump everytime her ears perked up to the sound that reminded her of the fresh water toppling over in waves at sea—and the air you take in that makes your body relax and calm°•°•

°•°• with her brows furrowed rhaenyra walked closer as she heard chattering near the godswood where she would usually hide at if to overwhelmed or need time to herself with her best friend, alicent reading to her about the targaryen dynasty°•°•

°•°• and to the white head girls surprise her violet eyes met with the sight of the two people that ran through her mind mere seconds ago , all chattered up with smiles on their faces and occasional laughs escaping their lips . rhaenyra paused behind the big bush that hid her small body well from the two as she looked to them with curiousness and another burning feeling bubbling in the pits of her stomach°•°•

°•°• sure rhaenyra knew that alicent and jaelys had met before but for only brief moments as the taller girl would whisk away to handle her duties the white head girls father set her up to when she visited the red keep—yet here they were sitting about like they were old time lovers°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra shook her head from those thoughts as she made her presence known casually strolling with her hands locked behind her back and a neutral look on her face , jaelys eyes caught sight of the girl as she turned her head to the princess with a small grin . the same little grin that made the princess heart swell°•°•

°•°• "rhaenyra!" alicent said with a smile as she too noticed the girls appearance as both woman stood from their previous seat , the princess smiled to her friend in greeting "i was wondering when you'd show up" said the brunette as she hugged her friend°•°•

°•°• "as much as i would like to continue this conversation—duty calls" jaelys spoke up as she turnt to alicent with a smile "your company was delightful lady alicent" the silver head said politely as she took the brunette's hand in hers bringing it up to her lips as she placed a small kiss on it°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra watched in slight distain but hid it well as she felt that feeling of jealousy creep up her body , only jaelys would kiss her hand in greeting? the princess felt her heart sunk a tad but averted her gaze elsewhere . as for alicent... well she was a blushing mess at the gesture°•°•

°•°• now jaelys was never the one to be oblivious as she noticed the princess look made her almost smile in amusement but decided against it , giving the brunette one last smile she walked her way to the still princess "my princess" rhaenyra snapped her eyes up to the sound of jaelys voice and there was that grin she loved seeing°•°•

°•°• her breathe caught in her throat when the silver head leaned down and placed a soft small kiss on her cheek before giving her a knowing look and walked away , with now the princess cheeks coated in light red°•°•

°•°• seems as though alicent's bright smile filtered upon seeing that and the same jealousy rhaenyra felt now entered the brunette's body°•°•
