𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚂𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙲𝚁𝙾𝚆𝙽𝚂 || 𝚁𝙷𝙰𝙴𝙽𝚈𝚁𝙰 𝚃𝙰𝚁𝙶𝙰𝚁𝚈𝙴𝙽

°•°• "𝔗hat's cheating!" rhaenyra yelled in slight frustration as she and syrax lost once again to jaelys and midnight , the princess swerved her dragon where the taller girl landed before getting off her dragon gently rubbing her scales as she passed the yellow dragon that resembled the sun in the light sky°•°•

°•°• jaelys simply laughed adjusting the reigns on her dragons sides "it's not cheating if i won many times thank you very much" the taller girl quipped in a matter-of-fact tone as midnight purred rubbing her snout onto her riders body , the black dragon resembled the moon in the darkened skies°•°•

°•°• and their dragons represented the kind of relationship both jaelys and rhaenyra had , sun and moon—both opposites yet alike in many ways they didn't even know themselves, ylang yling , the realms delight and the seas dismay. rhaenyra brings joy to any and every she encounters as her presence lights up the room , she was pure sunshine... reasons for her name as she brought the realm delight°•°•

°•°• and jaelys was the sunshine's protector , her mysterious and darkened aura poured out to others who wasn't her family or people she cared about . she could be polite yes ...but harm anyone she loves and they would find out why the people gave her the name the seas dismay°•°•

°•°• "well....you could've atleast let me win y'know" rhaenyra grumbled plopping down on the soft grass as her violet eyes went up to the sky right when the sun was setting , jaelys chuckled taking a seat next to her with her silver eyes watching the sun sinking into the depths of the clouds°•°•

°•°• "my mother's beginning her labours soon" the princess spoke first breaking the comfortable silence as a small sigh left her lips at thought , jaelys turned her eyes from the sky to the girl
"may the gods bless your father with a son so he will soon let aemma rest and enjoy her life" jaelys said honestly,  she'd never beat around the bush when speaking with rhaenyra°•°•

°•°• "we both know it won't ever stop" rhaenyra shrugged sluggishly as she fiddled with her rings,  jaelys glanced to the princess hands and felt sympathy creep up her spin . so much pressure put on the princess at such a young age°•°•

°•°• jaelys shrugged this time deciding to change the somber subject "my father allowed me to fight in the tournament" the taller woman smiled ghostly at the moment she shared with her father before he left for driftmark as he will return along with her mother and siblings soon for the tournament...and hopefully her aunt , celenia ,  younger sister to her father and uncle—would return back from her travels and attend the tourney as she missed the older woman dearly °•°•

°•°• rhaenyra smiled grateful for the change of topic "and when you win , who will you crown?" the princess raised her brow in question.  jaelys turned her head to her "who says i will win?" asked the velaryon girl , rhaenyra kept her eyes on the sky as she felt the taller girls heated gaze on the side of her face°•°•

°•°• "you're jaelys velaryon , it's obvious you'll win idiot" rhaenyra rolled her eyes with a smile playing on her lips "oh? you have that much faith in me princess" jaelys jested with a smile as rhaenyra laughed lightly finally tearing her eyes from the now stars in the dark sky to the girls silver eyes that seem to sparkle more than the bright moon itself°•°•

°•°• "the day you lose will be the day i dispise lemon cakes" the taller girl raised her eyebrows in slight surprise,  she knew the princess will never hate lemon cakes as it is her most favorite dessert "than that right there would be a shock to all , you will never hate lemon cake" jaelys chuckled at the sound of the princess laugh°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra shook her head with the smile staying on her face as she bumped her shoulder against the velaryon girl "are you saying i have an addiction lady jaelys?" the princess playfully narrowed her eyes , the taller woman turned her chin up "yes , yes i am" said the girl proudly°•°•

°•°• the princess swatted her arm as the laughs poured from her lips "it is treason to insult a princess" jaelys snorted leaning back on her palms " is it now? or did you forget i too am from royal blood princess" the taller girl tilted her head letting the mild wind blow throw her shoulder length silver curls°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra admired the girls beauty "oh? should i call you princess jaelys than?" the princess raised her brow , the taller girl hummed eyeing the girl with a small smirk "i'd rather you call me the love of your life" she replied smoothly as  her smirk widened upon seeing the princess flushed face°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra scoffed yet didn't agree nor deny anything just simply turnt her chin up "you keep imagining that" the taller girl chuckled lightly "and you keep telling yourself that love" she tapped the princess foot with her own°•°•

°•°• the white head stared at her for a few before clearing her throat rising from her seat "the hour grows late , i think we should g-" the princess was cut short when a squeal left her lips as she was suddenly pulled down landing right onto the taller girls lap°•°•

°•°• her eyes widened and face flushed when the taller girls face was mere inches from hers , their nose brushing slightly against another. jaelys felt a tiny smirk tug on her lips at the princess redden face as her hand slowly creeped up the girls back and grasp the back of her neck tugging her head even closer with her other hand holding the smaller girls hip as she felt the princess shaky breath against her lips°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra felt her mind go in a trance when her eyes met jaelys lips , those very soft plump ones that she has dreamt of planting her own lips on hers for a long time now . she imagined it tasted of fresh cocobutter and chocolate,  the very scent rhaenyra always smelt whenever jaelys was near or even afar . she'd sometimes smell it out of thin air whenever her mind went to her as it seem her scent was ingrained in her nose°•°•

°•°• jaelys brushed her lips against rhaenyra as the princess expected what she had hoped for—yet jaelys paused her movement "someday...you will admit that your heart belongs to solely me my princess..." whispered the velaryon girl before  putting a good distance between them°•°•

°•°• rhaenyra seem to snap out of her daze as she registered the words that left jaelys , her heart pounding against her chest and breathing hitched at her throat . violet eyes looked to silver as a glint passed through both at it stared at each other for a few moments °•°•

°•°• the princess than broke the intense eye contact as her eyes moved to where their dragons laid . both dark and light morphed into one as syrax and midnight cuddled snuggly under the stars with midnight's gold eyes and syrax black ones looked to the two girls, as they awaited their riders so they could return them back to the keep°•°•

°•°•rhaenyra glanced back at jaelys who never took her eyes off the princess , the short girl breathed out shakily before she spoke her reply "...maybe someday..." °•°•
