𝙲𝙻𝙰𝚂𝙷𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙲𝚁𝙾𝚆𝙽𝚂 || 𝚁𝙷𝙰𝙴𝙽𝚈𝚁𝙰 𝚃𝙰𝚁𝙶𝙰𝚁𝚈𝙴𝙽

𝘿𝙍𝘼𝙂𝙊𝙉𝙋𝙄𝙏

°•°• jacaerys, laenyra , the twins , lucerys and visaeria all stood alongside aegon , aemond , helaena and daeron in the dragonpit for their usual training to have commandment over their dragon and for the dragon to obey their rider°•°•

°•°• the eldest children being jace , aegon , helaena and laenyra all had full grown dragons and they could already ride their dragons and have full command and bonds with them . as for the youngest children—they have yet to fully conceal that bond. little visaeria just tagged along as she wish to see her siblings dragons even if she wasn't to fond nor had interest in them°•°•

°•°• one of the dragon keepers brought out the twins dragons as their sharp wild eyes snapped around the room looking for their riders who hadn't seen them in a week due to the twins punishment. jaenor and jaenys grinned at the sight of them as they were about to run forward but the dragon keeper put his staff infront of them°•°•

°•°• "bring forth dranix" he spoke in high valyrian as the young man brought the hissing dragon forward, her dark grey scales shimmered in the dimmed light as her curled horns were sharp , just like her teeth and claws . jaenys looked at her dragon in awe and love°•°•

°•°• the man brought a goat in the view as dranix eyes snapped to the animal, a hungry growl brewing in her chest "call dranix to heel ,princess jaenys" jaenys nodded as she stepped forward°•°•

°•°• "dranix!" jaenys called yet the dragon kept her eyes on the goat , the girl huffed "dranix!" she called once more but yet once again the dragon ignored her . jaenor snorted at his twin dismay making jaenys glare at him°•°•

°•°• "you must hold mastery over your
dragon my young princess as prince jacaerys has over midrax" said the dragon keeper as the girl looked to her elder brother who inturn gave her a supportive smile , jaenys nodded "once they're fully bound to you, they will refuse to take instruction from any other" the man finished off°•°•

°•°• the small princess looked to her dragon as a grin placed on her face "can i say it!" she asked excitedly, the man smiled nodding as all watched the girl turn to the dragon "dracarys dranix!" as the dragon heard the command , she stalked to the goat as laid her fire on the animal before diving in as she allowed dronox to dine with her°•°•

°•°• the girl squealed exactly as she turned to her siblings "did you see that!" laenyra smiled softly with a small nod at her young sisters excitement "well done jaenys" the timid girl said as jaenys grinned widely. all the young children all had turns with their dragons with luke simply sitting on the ground with visaeria and helaena as his own small dragon curled up on his head°•°•

°•°• "now that the bore is over" aegon said once the dragon keepers put away the dragons and continued on their duties , the green prince turned to the others with a mischievous grin
"we have a surprise for you aemond" aegon turned to his brother who looked boredly back to him "what is it"°•°•

°•°• daeron , the twins and luke all giggled as luke went to a passage way leaving the other children confused "something very special ,you're the only one of us without a dragon" aegon clamped his hand on the boys shoulder as aemond hummed suspiciously "indeed" he replied°•°•

°•°• "and we felt badly about it, so we found one for you" aegon grinned . jace rose his brow at that , laenyra went back to her book , helaena frowned with visaeria looking on the scene curiously as she now sat in helaena's lap°•°•

°•°•aemond looked at aegon in shock "a dragon? how?" he asked in clear disbelief,  aegon shrugged his shoulders putting his hands behind his back "the gods provide" as he said that , luke came from where he went with a pink pig that had cardboard cut out wings and horns on it , it snorted loudly as daeron , the twins , aegon and luke laughed°•°•

°•°• "behold! the pink dread!" aegon laughed a belly full "be sure to mount her carefully. first flight's always rough" jested the prince as aemond frowned at the sight . jace shook his head sighing "that isn't funny aegon" he said as the green prince scoffed rolling his eyes "ever so responsible jace , always the fun killer" mocked the prince childishly°•°•

°•°• jace inturn rolled his eyes "leave aemond be , he will someday claim a dragon as mighty as him" jace gave aemond an encouraging smile making the young prince solemn mood slightly lift—but aegon snorted "mayhaps in his dreams" was the last thing he said before he left°•°•

°•°• helaena stood with visaeria in her arms as she neared aemond "don't worry with him brother , he is an idiot" smiled helaena as aemond nodded looking down "now apologize daeron , he is your brother and it was not funny to tease him" the princess lightly scolded as daeron pouted °•°•

°•°• "sorry aemond" the prince of six said guilty as aemond simply nodded "come on , you need to be at your history lessons" helaena said as she kissed visaeria forehead before placing the giggling girl in jace arms giving the boy a smile with jace returning it . she took ahold of daeron's hand as they took their leave°•°•

°•°• "same goes to the both of you" laenyra said to the twins , they scowled but the girl gave them a stern look making the twins sigh " we're sorry aemond" they said , jace hummed looking to luke raising his brow at the boy "me too" luke added on°•°•

°•°• laenyra looked pleased as she neared aemond giving the boy a assuring smile "you will have a dragon of your own aemond , i'm sure of it" she patted his arm before taking luke's hand as the velaryon children left the dragon pit , leaving aemond alone in his thoughts°•°•

°•°• his eyes drifted to where the dragons were kept as his feet started taking off without even thinking. the boys eyes looked in wonder at the dragons as his eyes caught the sight of his sister's dragon , dreamfyre°•°•

°•°• a beautiful beast she was as the boy neared her , the dragon snapped her eyes to the curious boy as she let out a roar unleashing her fire as a warning to go no further if not helaena . aemond jumped back in fright falling straight on his arse  as he quickly got up and ran out the dragon pit with his heart beating out his chest°•°•
