Mom and Zola walked through the door. Bailey! Ellis! Come tell me about how your first day went. Bailey ran down excited and I didn't come down for a while as I had to get rid of a mac and cheese cup. I threw it out my bedroom window and it landed in the front lawn. After I got rid of it, I put on a fake smile and went downstairs, I made up this elaborate story of how school went. I hated to lie but I couldn't tell her the truth, afraid it would get worse. Mom was happy about how school went for us. Bailey asked mom if he could try out for the basketball team. "I don't see why not" mom said. I could barely eat my food thinking about what that girl would do to me tomorrow. The kids in Boston were really mean.
After supper, everyone else decided to watch a movie besides me, my excuse was that I was tired and just felt like going to bed. I laid in my bed for a while, what if the mean things that girl does to me never end, I didn't want to go back to school tomorrow but I knew I had no choice, I just laid there and cried. I threw the shirt that girl ruined out the window also and shut it. I then heard a knock on my door. "Who is it" I asked. "Its Bailey, let me in" he yelped. He sounded like a little hopeless puppy so I let him in. "I know your day was horrible, I saw your stained up shirt in the front of the house so who do I need to beat up" he asked me. I laughed "Bailey, you can't beat up a 2nd grader besides all she did was spit on me and push me in the cafeteria" I said. "Oh, well I guess let me know if it gets worse and I'll be there to kick her butt" he said to me while walking out. "Thanks Bailey" I said. I felt lucky in that moment to have a big brother.
