A/n: Every chapter is named with a quote from one of my favorite books ever: Oh Schnapp: All Caught Up. I started writing this book before Noah came out. (Happy Pride month btw) I wanted to continue it anyways, so I hope you enjoy it!

Noah's POV

I was sitting on a bench in a park in New York, finally home from filming season 4 of Stranger Things. Of course I was wearing a hat and sunglasses, but my sister Chloe put some on too, to make me feel less bad.

It's not fun to go home and have to hide yourself from the world. It's sad that I can't enjoy myself I one of the parks I grew up playing in.

Chloe and I were making idle conversation, nothing to important but definitely made me feel happy, finally being back with my family.

While we were chatting I couldn't help but here a voice begging with familiarity.

"Okay Beckett. I told your mom that I'd stay with you, so we can't play hide n' seek here, but maybe when we get back to the house? Okay?"

I knew that voice. I sounded so familiar it was almost funny. But I couldn't trace a name.

"Noah? Are you even listening to me?" Chloe questions angrily.

"No."

"Why no-"

"Just listen."

"I know you want to play hide n' seek Beckett. But I told your mom I'd stay with you. And we always keep our promises." The voice says again.

Not always.

"Beckett. We're at the park. We can play on the playground or we can sit and pout all day." I'll take you home soon, and after lunch we can play hide n' go seek at your house. I promise. And what did I say about promises? We always keep them. Now go play on the playground and I'll sit right here and watch you while I'll do some homework. Come to me if you need anything, and remember don't go with anyone unless it's me. Even if they are my friend okay?"

"Okay."

"Thank you for understanding." She finishes.

She walks to the nearest empty bench, and to get there she has to walk in front of us. I look up and can't help but notice her outfit. She was wearing a blue Stranger Things sweatshirt, some matching black athletic shorts, and Nike socks, with some Nike Blazers. When I look up, I see her face too. Light green eyes, with fluffy brown hair down and loose with two braids in the front. Those eyes had always been her biggest feature. Even when we were five.

"Chloe, that's Joe's sister." The whole cast knew Joe had sister, he had been on FaceTime with her a few times during filming. But the worst part was I knew her from when we were kids.

When we were younger, my mom had to take a trip to Massachusetts for work, and I didn't have a babysitter so she had to take me with her. Eventually, she took me to this park, where I met Joe's sister, Jocelyn, and after we played we decided to become penpals. Beside from a few meetups, which Chloe never attended, she never met her. And I never really talked about her.

I guess when I started filming, I kind of stopped writing letters. I've always felt bad but I just never got around to it.

I always thought it was weird that Jocelyn and Joe had the same last name, since I'm pretty sure Keery isn't a too common last name, until I was talking to Joe on set one day and he was telling a story about his sister "Jocelyn". I asked him how old she was and she was the same age as me. I kind of freaked out in a good way and told him I was his sister's pen pal. He shook my hand and told me it was nice to meet the "Noah" she had always been talking about.
