Thing hopped on top of the camera to stick black bubble gum on the lens. Batty a second later majestically flew out of the vent catching Thing's attention who observed her.

Batty main task was to press the green circular button attached to the wall. She completed her mission no more than three seconds.

The garage door to the building rose up as Wednesday and Y/n quickly got in. Batty then pressed the red circular button to close the door behind them.

"While Y/n and I do the autopsy, you and Batty find the files of the monster's other victims and make copies."

Thing tapped loudly which Batty used her wing to smack him. "Don't pout, and thank you Batty."

Batty chirped gratefully and flew to take a comfortable position on Wednesday shoulder.

"I'm starting to believe you and Batty are like sisters." The half-vampire stated with Thing standing on his shoulder.

Wednesday didn't deny his statement. "And I'm beginning to believe you and Thing are idiot brothers who got separated."

Batty chirped in agreement, and the two males glared at them. "She's just jealous Thing."

Wednesday in the meantime reveals the tools she prepared for tonight. "Thing do you remember my 13th birthday, when Uncle Fester gave me that cadaver? You sliced right through that man's carotid."

Thing did a shrug tap and scurried away to make copies of the monster's first few victims. Batty followed right behind him leaving Y/n and Wednesday alone.

The petite girl did not waste time opening and closing each storage. She was trying to find the homeless man dead body, the bearded guy.

"Remember the detail you told me about the monster not deciding to kill you? I find it very suspicious." The dhampire shared.

Wednesday resumed checking each storage. "Suspicious? How?"

"Think about it, the monster killed the homeless man but not you? And it found you first, which concludes the monster in his human self is acquainted with you somehow."

Wednesday closed a storage, "You're right. That doesn't make any sense, I'll keep that in mind."

She finally found the homeless man dead body. "There you are," she pulled his body out of the storage.

"Lots of damages on his forehead," Y/n gently touched the open wounds before looking at the homeless man missing left foot.

When Wednesday was silent after explaining everything she analyzed, Y/n spoke on about the missing left foot.

"Take a look at his missing left foot."

The goth girl pressed the button on her recorder. "This is curious. Subject's left foot is missing. It appears to have been chewed off the ankle."
