Wednesday thoughts last night wholly revolved around the boy she encountered in the quad. His disturbing presence which would scare off any regular outcast, but for her it was nothing.

She also can confirm the boy was a vampire. His clear and flawless pale skin was all she needed to back up her claim.

Another thing she caught upon was the male she spoke to last night was nowhere to be found in the table of Fangs. He either must be a loner, or a different kind of vampire.

Now in other lenses, meeting him is considered a warning and a curse. But Wednesday think of it as an opportunity to seek information about him. Either good or bad, all don't change her outlook.

She didn't catch his name either which was a mistake on her part. Not a reason to dwell on because she can use his facial descriptions as a source to Enid.

Wednesday paused in her tracks hearing Bianca insult the blonde student.

"Seriously coach, when am I gonna face real competition? I'm tired going up against low-skill fencers." Bianca complained.

"Anyone else willing to challenge me? I hope you exceed Rowan's incapable skills at least."

Wednesday butted in. "I do."

Bianca spun to her left to face her. She right away knew who this girl was.

"Oh, you're the psychopath and creaky girl they allowed to transfer mid-term."

"And you must be the self-appointed Queen Bee.  Hear a worth knowing fact about bees. Pull out their stingers and they drop dead." Wednesday bashed with a cold icy stare.

People surrounding them 'ohhh' at the roast.

"How about you put that theory into a test. I hope you're not lying to us," Bianca spat back.

The two took their sides and put on their masks. "En garde." Coach announced.

Bianca was first to clash swords and Wednesday responded with a clean parry and attack. Both challengers did not falter and kept striking each other with ferocious attacks.

Wednesday was slightly enjoying this. She hated fencing because of her mother wanting her to become a captain.

Bianca forced Wednesday to her side, hoping to claim victory, but the stoic girl dropped down and pointed the sword to Bianca stomach.

"Point to Wednesday."

This time around Wednesday was aggressive and lost a point to Bianca due to her carelessness.

"The score is even."

Bianca took off her mask and smirked. "That first point was clearly beginner's luck. Let's finish this quickly so I can fence someone else."

An idea popped up in Wednesday mind. There's a saying that everything reaches its peak once it's tense.

"For the remaining point, I would like to invoke a military challenge. No masks, No tips and winner draws first blood."
