Enid treaded along the rocky and leafy path. She couldn't fathom why Wednesdays was heavily dilated on Tyler than the boy she shares more impactful memories with. It made no sense whatsoever, even if it does, Enid didn't care.

Y/n should've been the main priority the moment they escaped the monster's gap.

Enid also isn't gonna act like she never had a
choice to find him. She did, and she let her fear overtake her judgment. She ran away with Wednesday and never looked back.

The blistering guilt lingering in her heart was too much to intake. Her cowardliness failed him, as a friend, and as a sister. Enid pushed through the branches that nipped at her legs and arms.

Enid was gonna find him, and apologize for her mistake. But she was also afraid, afraid to confront him and handle his electrifying gaze judging her awful shame. Enid hoped he wouldn't be harsh
with her.

As she wandered around the dingy and dusky
woods, her ears captures unrecognizable noises swirling around her. Enid's heart pumps at the ominous noises. She was still terrified, but not enough to abandon Y/n again.

There was something about walking through the nighty woods that gives her the shivers. It's like someone is there stalking you, watching your movements along the path.

They could be anywhere in the dark spaces surrounding your minimal light.

Enid's body halts at another sound. This one was lacking the volume to be identified. Enid listened more carefully, hoping she can make somewhat of the given noise.

But hearing her heart beating inside her chest was a distraction. Enid had to force herself to swallow her nervousness and bring her body close to the fuzzy cacophony.

The closer she was to the noise, the better Enid was able to distinguish the rattle. It sounded like someone.. screaming? Enid picked up her the
pace and fought her way through the eerie night.

Then, her awaiting eyes flared at the sight of Y/n positioned on his knees with his back coated in disastrous wounds. Enid, with a shouting voice, bawled his name. "Y/n!"

The poor boy on his knees rested his bloody forehead on his dead companion's body. His shoulders shook whilst his tears drizzled down
his face and hit his palms. His frantic wails and raining emotions outspoken Enid's call.

The weight of his fallen friend in his palms was overbearing to accept. He was denying the truth, regardless of his holding her motionless body.
Y/n wished Batty would stop playing with his emotions and wake up from her sick joke.

His head rose when a hand grazed his shoulder. Looking up, he was met with Enid'a concerned expression. "Y/n, what are you..."

Enid's face collapsed once her eyes found the
main source of his sorrow. Batty was laying on
his hands with her body covered in fatal wounds
and her wings ripped apart from her. Batty was dead.
