*Jack's POV*

I stood outside my English room for god knows how long before I got the guts to open the door. I walked slowly inside, feeling people's eyes burn into me.

"Hi, I'm Jack. I'm new here?" I asked the teacher at the front of the class.

She looked lovely. She was very young, wearing a plain black skirt with a white blouse. She smiled brightly at me.

"Oh yes! Of course! I'm Mrs Saunders. But everybody calls me miss. Take a seat where ever you like." She replied chirpily.

I took the opportunity to look around the room. All the popular kids sat in a clump at the back. The pot heads sat quietly by the window, staring out of it blankly. The quiet, nerdy kids all sat at the front, as far away from everybody else as they could. I felt a gaze on me where the jocks were and turned my head back over to them. I saw the brown haired boy that I saw in the parking lot before school sitting down with his arm around a skinny blonde girls waist. My heart stopped again as I stared at him. I shook my head and chided myself.

No, Jack! If you want to last a day here you have to pretend you're not gay.

Sighing a dragged myself to a vacant seat three rows back from the teacher, but still far away from everyone else. I heard hushed whispers from behind me but chose to ignore it as I pulled my book out of my bag. Mrs Saunders clapped her hands and the class went silent.

"Okay everybody! Now that we are all settled down, it's time to talk about what we are going to study this year."

She walked around the desk to the chalkboard and wrote one big word on it.

Shakespeare.

A chorus of groans erupted from around the class. I sat up more and focused my attention on what Mrs Saunders was saying. I noticed out of the corner of my eye that a petite, red haired girl sat up too. I smiled slightly.

"Oh come on guys! Shakespeare's work was legendary. Pretty much everybody has heard of him." Miss stated.

"This is bullshit." A loud voice said behind me.

"Alexander Gaskarth! This is not bullshit. However, you seeing me after class is." The teacher snapped, causing the class to laugh.

"Anyway. Before you all start complaining, we will be reading Macbeth. Anybody know what it's about?" She sighed.

The red haired girl's hand shot up.

"Yes, Avery?" Miss asked.

Avery. What a pretty name.

"So these three witches tell macbeth he will become thane of Cawdor and then the king, he then becomes the thane but his wife is like this mega bitch and wants more so she tells him to kill the king. They make up this like super elaborate plan and he kills the king. The kings sons run away and Macbeth becomes king. He then tells these assassin guys to kill his threat, Banquo. But then Macbeth is haunted be Banquos ghost at his party. So he goes back to the witches and he sees three things. A bloody baby saying "beware Macduff", a bloody helmet saying that he cant be killed by anyone born of a woman and A child with a crown and a tree branch saying that he doesnt need to worry till the Birnam woods moves to Dunsinane. Macbeth orders for Macduff and all his family killed.. but Macduff left already. Lady Macbeth, his wife, kills herself. Macduff has this army and they head for Macbeths castle and cut down the Birnam wood trees to use as cover. Macbeth gets killed and yeah." Avery spilled out quickly.

Mrs Saunders smiled and looked over at me.

"Jack, would you like to do a quick summary of what Avery said?" She asked, sounding more like a demand than anything.
