Taehyung didn't meet Jeongguk until Wednesday, which was three days since they last met. The both of them turned out to be busy, having had so many coursework to catch up on. However, they both constantly texted and they face timed at night.
On Wednesday evening, Taehyung found himself in the cafe they had their first date. The sun slowly dipped into the faraway horizon, amidst tall buildings and its dying rays painted Taehyung's skin golden. He had ordered himself a hot chocolate, topped with marshmallows. He slowly sipped it, reminiscing the first time Jeongguk took him here.
Since then, they had only been here once. It was after Taehyung had confessed his feelings to Jeongguk. Taehyung felt delighted to come back here. The previous time, they both had spent hours at this cafe. Taehyung had ended up trying two different pieces of cake and he had gulped down three different chocolate drinks. Their purpose had been to have a study date. Needless to say, barely any studying took place as they had been too engaged in one another than the books.
As Taehyung munched on a moist marshmallow, he caught glimpse of a figure entering the cafe. Taehyung's eyes lit up when he saw a familiar figure looking around and when his eyes finally caught Taehyng sitting at the same table they had their first date, the boy's mouth stretched into a wide grin.
Taehyung giggled to himself when he took in Jeongguk's adorable expression. He watched the alpha walk over to him quickly with a hop of excitement to his steps. When he finally reached the table, Taehyung pulled him to the seat next to him and crushed him in an embrace.
Jeongguk's hands wrapped themselves around Taehyung at the speed of lightning, tightly. The alpha's large palms caressed the omega's back soothingly and Taehyung sighed in contentment. He took a deep inhale, a smile stretching on his lips as his lungs filled with his alpha's familiar scent. He had missed this so, so much.
Jeongguk was the first to draw away, only for him to hold Taehyung's chin with two fingers and crash his lips against the omega's. Taehyung was taken by surprise and he swore his heart did a few backflips as Jeongguk kissed him with so much need and passion. It was sweet and fierce as Jeongguk poured his emotions into it.
"I missed you so much" Jeongguk whispered Taehyung's thoughts.
Taehyung's eyes fluttered open, his head still feeling floaty from the kiss. "I did too"
"Has my omega been well?"
"I've been telling you every single thing that happened with me for the last two days" Taehyung grinned.
"I know. And I'm glad you're doing well" Jeongguk whispered, eyes darting from the omega's eyes, to his lips, to his nose, to the crown of his hairline and to his chin. The alpha lovingly grazed the side of Taehyung's face with a soft smile decorating his lips. He then proceeded to tuck a strand of hair behind Taehyung's ear, making the omega want to melt into a boneless pile of mush.
