You rush downstairs to ask permission if you can go outside. "Where are you going, Y/n?" your mom asks while making snacks. "I'm hanging out with Kageyama and his friends today, he invited me." You mention with a smile on your face and hands crossed.
"Sure? I think his parents mentioned that he goes to the same school with you," Before placing the pepper on her sandwich, she said something that made you flabbergasted.
"If you're going on a date with him somehow, just be honest with me." Your teasing mother looks at you with a wink, while you give her back a disgusting look.
"Mom, first of all I don't even like him, we just met." You scratch your head and going to your room to prepare after.
After preparing, you grabbed your bag and texted him, saying that you can come. "Mom, I'll just wait for Kageyama here at the living room."

He didn't respond to you, instead you got a knock on your door. Your mother grabbed the door first, revealing the blue haired boy, Kageyama.
He widened his eyes a little to see your mother instead of you, "Uhm... Is L/n here?" He asks, hoping that you were already prepared and didn't have to be in an awkward situation with your mother. Finally, you tapped your mother's shoulder, signaling you're behind her.
"Oh! Sorry Y/n, hehe." She chuckled, before closing the door you hear her shout, "Take care honey! I love you!" you smile at her words, "I love you too mom!" and after that, closing the door.
Kageyama placed his hands on his pocket, "I wasn't expecting to be neighbors with you to be honest." he looks at you while you were too distracted with the beautiful flowers.
"Me neither, but anyway are these friends of yours also play volleyball?" you look back at him tilting your face. "Yeah, I think you'll love being friends with them. You look chaotic," he pulls out his phone afterwards.
A few minutes has passed, none of you were talking. Awkward... "I let them know that we're almost near." Your lips shaped to an O, not knowing that the café was actually just outside your subdivision.
Finally! you reached the café, before opening the door he opened it and waited for you to come inside. You couldn't help but squeal inside?! No boy has ever done this to you before.
'Literally the bare minimum but... what the fuck...' You thought.
Kageyama leads you to his friend's table, seating beside you. All of his friends were amazed on how he brought a gorgeous girl. When all of a sudden, you notice a girl with glasses on the other side of the table, she's so... beautiful.
Snapping back to reality, you look at Kageyama, who's covering his face cause the whole team's teasing him on how he was confident to bring you in here.
