Throughout the whole night he was wide awake, not knowing how to handle the situation properly. "Oh my God," Kageyama groans out of frustration and looks at his phone. 'Still no reply,' was he thought when he saw an empty lock screen.
His wallpaper was you and him taking a photo outside the gym before practice, it was you leaning in his chest and he had his chin on the top of your head.
Kageyama ended up not getting a lot of sleep, when he went down the stairs to eat breakfast she asks him if he was okay, he nodded. "Well, did something happen between the two of you?" Her mother figured out.
"Well..." he started rambling about what happened to the two of you, Kageyama couldn't tell if his mother was shocked or angry at him for what he did. "And that's what happened." After telling what happened, Kageyama takes a bite out of his breakfast and widens his eyes at his mother who randomly scolded him.
"Kageyama Tobio! That's not how you talk to your loved one, there might be even a chance that you'll lose her if you didn't make up to her quickly." His mothers words were stuck on his mind. Lose you?
That can't be possible... right? Right? He blinks a few times and finally asks his mother how to make it up to you. "That's something that you should know, Tobio. I can't help you, you're the one who knows what she likes and dislikes." She pauses.
"Just apologize in person and do some things that'll make her happy. Anyway, I'll be at the office. I need to go there," His mother grabs her bag and walks out of the house. "Something that she likes..." Kageyama thinks as he places his hand on his chin.
Finally, you woke up and stretched your arms. You sat up and checked if there were any notifications from Kageyama, 'oh.' you totally forgot what happened yesterday for a while. You brushed it off and take a look at your window, you couldn't see Kageyama in his home because he's a little far away from you.
Suddenly, you heard a knock on your door. You open the door and see your mother standing in front of you, "What is it?" You ask and open the door completely. "Kageyama dropped this by," Your mother handing a box, you curiously caress the box and look back up.
"I also heard what happened between the two of you, I'm glad he noticed his actions immediately." And after that, your mother went down stairs and didn't wait for your response. "Oh.." you say as you close the door in front of you and sat down on the bed.
You see a letter that's right on top of a familiar snack that you two always eat when going home from school. Every time you go home from practice, you two always come across a convenience store and grab snacks and eat on the way home.
The paper was a small index card with full of words and a heart on the bottom, saying 'Hello, Y/n. I genuinely don't know if this will make you feel a little more better but I'm sorry, really sorry. I hope a few of these things will boost up your mood, I love you. ♡'.
Removing the paper that was covered in it, you saw two of your favorite snacks and a keychain of you and him smiling at the camera. You held the keychain and look at the photo over and over again, until you get a notification from your phone.

You smile at your phone, excitingly open your conversation and type out the most random things because he remembered your favorites. Usually, he doesn't take a look on what you buy, but seeing him remember makes your heart melt.

It was just the two of you exchanging I love you's, ah high school sweethearts. The conversation kept on and on until your stomach was starving, you said your goodbyes to Kageyama and told him you'll talk to him in a while. Your parents were in their bedroom, not knowing what they were doing but you don't care.
After eating, your conversation with Kageyama was escalated to him asking you out on a date today. It was so sudden because you were about to take notes on the upcoming topics that where about to be discussed. And of course, you said you were free and rushed to your parents bedroom to tell where you were gonna go to.
Quickly preparing yourself for your first date was exciting. With Kageyama, he was just wearing a black hoodie and pants. Grabbing the stuffed toy that he got when you two first went out with Karasuno. 'I knew that grabbing this stuffed toy would be a big help,' He thought to himself and exited his home to fetch you.
A few minutes passed, you were scrolling thru your phone while waiting for Kageyama. You take a glance at the window and see him waving at you, you open the door and gave him a smile. He froze in his spot, looking at what you were wearing. "You look so beautiful." He breaks the ice, you chuckled at his reaction and intertwine your arms with his.
While walking, you notice he was holding a stuffed toy that you used to look at when it was your first time going out with each other and Karasuno. "Y/n, I actually got this stuffed toy for you. I was supposed to give it to you but I only remembered when I got home."
He hands you the stuffed toy and you look at it as if it's a diamond ring, "Thank you, Tobio." You peck his cheek and continued walking to where he's taking you. He didn't actually mention where the date was going to be, so you assumed it was his surprise to you.
Kageyama tells you that you two are almost at your date place, you nod at him in response and take a look at the trees and grass. You two were holding hands, so you take a picture and saving it in your gallery. You see a blanket that's on the floor and a few food that you two like.
"Hinata maybe have helped me in this one..." he lowers his head down and looks at the food that this best friend had prepared for the two of them, perhaps Hinata's intervention wasn't a bad idea after all.
